I could not find one piece of dark chocolate Easter candy at the store where I shopped. I was so bummed.

What I did buy for myself, I will be freezing so I can eat it slowly over time. I also only bought things that I could eat in small portions (no big bunnies).

I spent $30. In my defense, some of them were for my hubby and some of them were for an upcoming birthday party (Candy land themed).

[/quote] White water? [/quote] I grew up drinking whole but switched to 2% a couple of years ago. I swore I would never drink skim. However, once I started MFP, I switched. By cutting the calories in my milk, I was able to eat more. Oh, but I do long for a nice thick glass of milk. (Sigh)

Walking has been pretty much my only form of exercise. With three young kids and my budget the gym is not an option but I am successful. I do use a walking video which helps add other movements and a little variety but it still boils down to walking.

I don't know if you have heard of/seen the movie "Fireproof" but it kind of hits on this topic. You should strive to be in love with your husband. He may not react the way you would like at first but shower him with love anyway.

I am sorry but no sweets is completely unrealistic to me. If I tried to adopt something like that I would fail right away. I am a firm believer of everything in moderation.

I am glad someone posted this. I have lost 27 lbs. but only a couple inches. My stomach doesn't seem to have budged at all. I am exercising and eating plenty of protein so I would doubt that I am losing muscle. I am working towards reducing fat intake and am considering mixing weights with my cardio.

That is so my life as with so many other ones that have been shared. -When you have to move the pacifier, sucker, crayons, and toy car in your purse to get to your wallet. -When you count down the time to nap or bedtime so you can snack with out someone offering to help you or walk up to you and say "Aaahhh"

You would be surprise what just portion control, exercise, and healthier cooking methods will do. Stay true to your food and exercise diary and you will lose weight. There is a great group of people on here to cheer you on.

I have lost 27 lbs. without a gym membership. I have three small kids and no one can make it to the gym regularly. I used my treadmill at the beginning but for the majority of my weight loss I have done Walk Away the Pounds and a few other aerobics routines from youtube.

I have only tried it once. I bought something called Garlic Lovers. I really like garlic so I thought it would be good. I learned I must not be a true garlic lover because it tasted like I ground a head of garlic in a food processor and ate. I tried to make myself like it but it was terrible. I need to try it again some…
