Sorry it took me so long to reply, I edited my post but I guess it didn't post for some reason. 1/2 cup of sugar.

My biggest dilemma centers around the fact that I am also a nursing mommy. I do log the nursing on my food diary and it credits me for those calories however I changed my goal to reflect the 1800 calories that most say nursing moms should take in. However, when I exercise do I take in more than the 1800 or stay put.

Let me start by saying this made me laugh, so thanks for your fun way of describing this. I too struggle with the thought of eating back all the calories I burn. However, in all honesty, I am very glad MFP doesn't count your exercise until you actually do it because more often than not I do not do it.

Any recipe suggestions for a VERY garlicky store bought hummus? I bought it to eat with carrots as a low cal. snack but it is a little to potent to be eaten out right. I guess I didn't take the "Garlic Lovers" description seriously.

I would also like a homemade pesto recipe if anyone has one.

If you already know the nutritional info on your recipes (calories per serving etc.) then you can add it under MY Foods. This is helpful to me because my husband is doing this too and there is no reason for us both to go through the trouble of adding each ingredient.

Like someone said above I have a three ring binder with dividers for the different grouping (breads, desserts, vegetables, etc.). I use sheet protectors and just slide the recipe in the protectors. Until I am ready to put them in the binder, I keep a manilla folder to put all the loose recipes in.

Thanks for the input. I used the recipe on allrecipes.com to figure the ratio of sprite to ice cream and the number of serving. That gave me the number of calories. All I can say is I am glad I only drank have a cup. It was yummy though.

I just assumed that ice cream had more calories than sherbet and I know they used ice cream.

I am with you. I am a mother of three. Unfortunately, I gained a good amount of weight after college before I even had kids. I lost the baby weight fairly easily with the first two but haven't with the third. My body is completely out of whack and I want to do something about it.

I don't even know if they still sell the things but I bought one a few years ago and decided to bust it out because I remember the workout was tough but managed to work every part of my body in just thirty minutes. As a mom of three aging three to three months I don't have much time to give to exercise.
