I got some of these anit-blister running socks. http://www.wrightsock.com/running.php They are GREAT. Two very thin layers of fabric so that any friction that occurs will rub the inner sock layer, not your skin. I found mine on amazon at a decent price. ETA: Its better to leave them alone and not pop/drain, IMO. A blister…

^ This. I saw a saying going around online..."You are not a dog. Don't reward yourself with food." Now I do things like a new top, a handful of new songs from iTunes to add to my workout playlist, a watch, a new pair of shoes, and so on. I still get something special without having to work extra hard the entire next week…

I just had my high protein snack at work....I find it really does keep me full until dinner. My go to is a fat free Greek yogurt of some kind (usually 12-14g protein depending on brand) with a half cup serving of Hi-Lo Cereal (12 grams protein) mixed in for a little crunch! The cereal is also high fiber, and really fills…

I too am large framed (5'10.5) and also have the inch gap on the wrist thing going on....I've had great success with high intensity circuit training, which combines strength and cardio. My gym has a class called High Intensity Training (fee based, so it costs extra, but its great). The description is: HIT sessions are…

I made this the other day-http://www.skinnytaste.com/2008/11/crock-pot-chicken-taco-chili-4-pts.html It was great and made TONS! My crockpot was full before I could fit in my last 10 oz of Rotel. I got 8 1.5 cup servings at about 250 cals each, and it reheats GREAT!

Give overnight oatmeal a try. You make it the night (or a few days) before, so you can do it after baby goes to sleep. Only takes a few minutes to put together and you eat it cold in the morning...easy as pie and so good! Here is a site with some great starter recipes http://www.theyummylife.com/Refrigerator_Oatmeal

I was going to suggest this too! I make mine the night before, takes about three minutes to throw together, and you can do it when your little one is asleep. Grab your mason jar/tupperware, a spoon and you're ready to roll the next morning! Here is the recipe I use-…

I made pita pizza for the first time last night, and am eating it again tonight! Your favorite pita (mine is 160 cals for entire pita), low fat cheese (I used 1/2 cup, 140 cals), sauce (20 cals for 1/4 cup) and your favorite toppings. I used turkey pepperoni (8 slices, about 35 cals), onion, red and green bell pepper.…
