You could try and do some weight lifting for your arms and shoulders. Bicep curls, tricep kick backs and lifts that target your shoulders. Give it time. Your body is just retaining water while it gets used to the whoop *kitten* workout you are doing. You will find that the weight will come back off and keep coming off.

I had a mini goal to get my BMI in what they call 'normal'. I reached that last week. My next mini goal is 5 pounds which will be my mini goals for a bit yet. My overall goal is to get my BF in the 20-22% range no matter what weight I am at.

My goal is about 145 lbs, but really only concerned with BF%. I am going for a goal of 20%. I'm 5'7" and currently at 157lbs, 28% BF and size 10. It will take time to get there.

I weigh myself almost every day when I first get up. It's my motivation to get myself to work out that day.

^^^^ I like these too! I also like lying on your side tricep presses. No weights involved, but form is everything. The tricep kickbacks - I do two versions - 1. normal with your hands parallel to your body and then 2. more intense as you alternate between the inside of you wrists up and then the back or your hand up.

I like the burn in the muscles when you are getting close to your last rep. I like the 'good' soreness you feel a day or two later. What I really like is how the muscles transform your body. As long as you are not working the same muscles, then you could still lift. Otherwise do some cardio and rest the muscles.

Yesterday was all lifting. Today was cardio with a bazillion squats and jumps. P90X Plyo - burned 525 calories. I can repost what I did all yesterday if you want some boring reading. My weight lifting workouts are all 60 minutes.

^^^^ Exactly! I'm concentrating on my BF and not necessarily my weight. My lifting is 3 times a week for 60 minutes (P90X). I'm not interested in competition intensity training, but I can tell that inches are burning off and I'm starting to see some nice sculpting. Can't wait for more BF to burn off!

We got some of the premade smoothies that Pure Portein offers for those times when we don't have time. We have tried their orange, key lime and mix berries. Since I am particular about the taste of this type of stuff, I really like them.
