Congrats on getting a bike!!!! You will love the feel of kicking it while enjoying the scenery!

I would probably log it as a low impact aerobic program.

^^^^^ this was totally me!!!!

Lunch today was a 4 oz tenderloin steak salad with FF ranch, a little bit of shredded cheese and 24 oz of water.

Like any workout program - your results are truly up to you. Some haters of the program just don't like listening to Shaun T's comments and yeah, they can get a bit much when you hear them over and over again. I tuned him out and concentrate on my form. I liked the program. It's hard work and if you like to change up your…

The lower readings from one workout to the next same workout could truly be coming from you and that your heartrate didn't stay at the exact same level for the whole time. I was thinking that there could be some interference with the treadmill if it has the ability to measure heartrate already (sensors in the handrails…

People who have all the tools to help themselves and don't. They take the easy way out. They complain or they just ask someone to do the work for them. This goes for work situations and life situations. Don't you want to learn? Don't you want the satisfaction of knowing that you can do it yourself? Gah!!

^^^ this!^^^ I swear one day I'm just going to plow right through them and not try to bob and weave at the last minute.

P90X has alternative easier options when it comes to the cardio portions of the workouts. The weight lifting portion is on you to be lifting what you can and increasing your weights when you can. The push ups, do them on your knees until you get stronger. The pull ups, get a resistance band and do lat pull downs first. As…

Nailed half of the Tuesday challenge already. Woot Woot!

Aren't we all in some way or another? Gadget geek here with a side of SciFi!!

How have I missed this thread until now? geesh! I'm 46, feel/act like I'm 30 and trying to get the body to reflex the spirit inside. No kids. All my nieces and nephews think we are rich and awesome. May they never lose the awesome part! I have 15-20 stubborn pounds to lose yet. I've been on a nasty plateau for several…

Mastered Monday, cals were really close though. On to Tuesday's challenge!

I wash my workout clothes separate from the every day stuff. I use Penguin Sport Wash, but I also add my regular detergent in the pre-wash so get it all extra clean. I hate the funk you can smell when you start to sweating into your clothes after you've had them awhile. So far this routine has done the trick.

My PT had me wrap my arches with tape every day for months. What the tape did was keep my arched area 'stretched'. Felt weird, but that and ball rolling, icing and stretching, it healed itself. I have orthodics now and I wear them in every pair of shoes that I can. It has not come back, but I have felt it starting and I…

I tried this, if this is the one that is 2 eggs and 1 banana. I didn't add baking powder, how much did you add?
-
Throw some in the freezer to use later. The bananas need to be mushy anyway and when they thaw, they are mushy! Bonus!

OMG! My friends called the guy I dated briefly 'my boytoy'.

This thread got me thinking of when I was divorced at 30 years old and started dating a 21 year old. Never knew his reason why he would date me, but for me, I didn't want someone (at that time) who was so serious and stuck in their ways. He hung with a fun crowd and it got me out having fun again. Ever try dating again…

www.muscleandstrength.com This website has all sorts of weight lifting routines, but most importantly, it has home based routines based on available equipment you own. I also found an app called Fitness Buddy and that has a ton of work outs depending on what you are looking to do and what you have available to use.

Well I am 46 and trying my hardest to get the stubborn weight off. It's going to take more time than I would like, but I will get there. I feel like I'm in my early 30's so I can't let this old body slow me down!
-
Thought of another reason: So when I decide to wear corded jeans, people can't hear me coming due to the noise my thighs make rubbing together.
-
To be able to wear those clingly, body hugging dresses and not have any lumps in the wrong places. (not there... yet) Cross my legs without them falling asleep. (Can do this now) Go downstairs and not feel my belly fat bounce the opposite direction of the rest of my body. (getting better)

All my workouts are at home. I've belonged to gyms and it's just easier to head to the basement and workout with bedhead. I have done 2 rounds of P90X and one round of Insanity. I am now doing a hybrid of weight lifting on M-W-F and cardio on T-TH-Sat. I am mixing everything up and each week will not be the same for me.…

You may find out that they are afraid that you will leave them when you hit your goal weight. I've read that this can be the situation too, so it may be a question you need to ask them. Some how you will have to get the willpower to overcome the junk food. Eat what you know you can, count the calories and then push that…

Look at muscleand strength.com website. They have workouts for basically any situation so if you do not own any dumbbells they could have workouts that use just your own body weight. Here is the link: http://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/full-body-bodyweight-workout.html
