It took me 6 months to realize that my sister-in-law (who I see on a weekly basis) had lost 20 pounds over a 6-month period. Wasn't until I saw her in workout clothes that I saw she had dropped a considerable amount of weight. Don't fret it - people will be checking out your hot body soon enough!

I have the same model - I have never used the HRM with it though. The best feature that I've found (other than the obvious calculating: distance, pace and time) is the "workout" feature. If you have a pair of running shoes you can walk off weight pretty easily! Then from walking, start running! I recommend starting slow or you'll injure yourself and then never want to try again.
