I have never heard of Oral Allergy Syndrome - but I knew I had an allergy to some types of apples and almonds. Now I know why. Thanks!

^^^ Great place to meet other runners and learn about proper form, training plans, hydration, nutrition and my fav: clothes! A typical Half-Marathon training program is 16-18 weeks ie, you better start now!

I gave it up a week ago - and my skin is already clearer! And I'm not drinking any more water than I had been already. Some "studies" suggest that the aspartame tricks your body into thinking that it needs real sugars (or something to that effect) and you end up eating more to satisfy that craving. I'm trying to "eat…

Adding you now! Welcome and good luck in this adventure :)

WOW!!!! What a transformation :) Congratulations you look FAB!

I had lots of running related problems in my hips - it ended up being a lack of muscle within my core/hips. I went to physiotherapy for a month a couple times a week and they had me doing all sorts of exercise to strengthen them. This was AFTER a full summer with a chiropractor who fortunately did wonders for my back but…

Sorry for being MIA! Haven't had the energy to do the Shred! My current weight is 153.2lbs as of this morning.

I always set my first goal for a new distance at "to complete". As long as I can go at a speed where I can finish the distance... then I've done it. Then, once you've logged that you can start increasing your speed/distance/etc.

Not sure if this is "true" zig zagging or not but I was at a plateau of 160 pounds for several weeks. I had an "off" week and went over my recommended intake (and ate back all my exercise calories) for 4 days straight and I ended up losing 4.4 pounds almost overnight. I had to weigh myself several days in a row before I…

:) Looks like everyone is doing really well! Back from holidays, got the flu, and now just recouping before I hit any exercise. Can't wait to get back into it!

Going on a mini vacation for a couple days - will be back Thursday and ready to shred!!! Keep going ladies :)
-
WOW!!! Just an absolute transformation - congrats and can't wait to see once you've finished 30DS!
-
Amazing! you look great in your swimsuit!

D1 of L2... done.
-
...that is my most HATED exercise... that and the fake jump rope. I used 3lbs weights and still hated the shoulder raises. Definitely easier by day 10 but still killer. Tell your hubby to do the 30DS and then he can talk hee hee :)
-
I'm a little ahead of everybody but don't always have the chance to do it every day. D10 of L1 complete. On to Level 2... eep!

Should be interesting to see where we both end up!!! :) I have to admit I do more than just the Shred. Also jog 3xweek, hot yogax1 and zumba x1/week. It's a busy week. :)

You look like a completely different person - congratulations on getting healthy!!!

My weight loss won't be as "dramatic" as my change in measurements. So that being said... these are as of Nov 5. November 5, 2011 Left Thigh: 24.02" Right Thigh: 24.04" Hips: 38.70" Lower Back: 38.03" Waist: 31.30" Chest: 37.09" Right Bicep: 12" Left Bicep: 12" Current Weight 160lbs

I too need something/someone to force me to do it! Count me IN! I'm already on my last day of Level 1, but I will do some extra days of Level 3 right before Christmas because I'll know I'll need it then! :) Woo hoo :)
-
Beautiful! Congrats on managing to do it without MFP or any other networks for that matter! Woohoo!

I try to plan out my meals just like I do during the week. I have a meal planner that I print out and fill in with a general outline of what we're going to eat that week. To get around the "it's the weekend, i want to eat everything" problem... I plan fun meals ie, Chicken Sliders with Sweet Potatoe fries. or homemade…

The only way to find out is to try! I personally live in Canada so our shoes are WAY overpriced compared to the US. Buy all my shoes while on holidays... so, technically on "sale". Good luck!
-
You can really see it in your face! congrats!

My jury is still out on this one. It depends what you believe. The theory is that the cushioning (foam heel etc) breaks down over time even without use.

Love the Running Room :)
