  • Unbelievable! Good for you!!
  • Amazing! Great job!
  • Awesome NSVs!!! Have fun shopping for new PJs :)
  • Excellent responses, everyone--thanks so much! I think I will just order the armband and see how it goes, now that I know I can just order the display separately in the future if needed. Geez, these MFP boards are great!! How did I live without them?? Take care everyone!
  • It made me sad to hear that you didn't like your wedding photos. I bet you looked beautiful no matter what you weighed. I commend you for addressing your weight issues now--you will enjoy your life (and future children) so much more if you are confident and fit! Feel free to friend me if you need support. Take care!
  • My God...what an inspiration!!! You are amazing!!
  • I also say go for the cardio, and plan to get back to strength training/toning tomorrow when you've healed a bit. Drink plenty of water. Good luck & have fun with it!
  • Thanks everyone...I just figured out how to fix my ticker :) I am good at working out but not so much on computer stuff! LOL!

  • I think Tina said pretty much everything I would say. The one thing I would add is to consider investing in a heart rate monitor which will take into account your weight, height, age, and gender. I have a Polar FT4 which works great. Keep running...you won't regret it! :)
  • Okay, one more question for everyone. I am leaning towards the BodyMedia Core Armband. How important do you think it is to get the display watch? Do you find it motivating, or do you think I could do without? It's a little expensive so I was wondering how important it was. Of note: I do wear a pedometer, and I have a Polar…
  • Amazing job! Kudos to you for all your hard work!! Enjoy those new undies ;)
  • Thank you all so much! I am going to look online for a BodyBugg or BodyMedia & treat myself as an early Christmas gift.
  • Thanks for the ideas, everyone! I am impressed...first time I ever posted anything here! Will try out some of your ideas & see what happens. I am 42 and thought the oiliness would go away one of these days...haven't been to a dermatologist for it. Hoping some of your suggestions help. Thanks again!
  • Oops, forgot to mention I tried Bare Minerals too...it melted off my face in about 30 mins. It might have worked if I could ever find an oil control primer though. :(
  • Thanks for your responses... What do you mean when you say "sync it"? Do you hook it into your USB port or something to download info? (Sorry I'm so clueless). And it tracks sleep? By your heart rate somehow? Interesting. Is it only the Media Fit that does this or the BodyBugg too?
  • I lost 9.5 inches and only 2 lbs. my first month of the Shred. HTH. Good luck!
  • Boxing--jabs, uppercuts, hooks, etc. I wear a HRM and I can tell you that you can really blast your heart rate up there just with upper body boxing moves. Good luck to you!
  • Metamucil works great.
  • I lost 9.5 inches overall after the 30 DS--it was unbelievable. Definitely worth it. Plus you will fee great about yourself, knowing you completed a tough workout!!
  • I've done both. I preferred 30DS over Ripped, for two reasons: 1. 30DS was slightly shorter, so better with my busy schedule, and 2. Ripped has more unusual exercises which felt awkward, and were more difficult to do correctly, as I'm not that flexible. HOWEVER, they are both great workouts and you can't go wrong with…
  • Thanks for sharing your story. Your stats are amazing, by the way. I too am a binge eater. I've lost about 70 lbs, but it is a constant struggle in my head not to eat out of control. It's exhausting. Although I've been successful at losing weight and keeping it off, I know that I am only a binge away from putting it back…
