1lb a week for me as well. 4/3/2012 - 176.8 Long term goal: Lose about 10lbs by the end of July. If I can manage 1 lb a week that would average to over 10, but 10 would make me happy :)

Love that movie! :)

Bakersfield here too! Been here about 4 years now. What a great place *eyeroll* Moving back east sometime this year. Love anything outdoors (hiking, camping, biking you name it) Currently working and going to gym though. Trying to get in as many outdoor runs as possible before the weather gets unbearably warm.

Starting up Stage 3 tonight ... looking forward to it, but as always nervous about the first 2 workouts LOL Either way ready to get back into the gym and lift - been off a little over a week!

3/31/12 - 178.6 - .6lb loss So even after being gone for the week and not eating the best I still managed a loss this week. I'm pretty happy with that. No clue why or how it happened, but I won't question it. Apparently I need to go on vacation more often. So a total of 3.8lb loss for March - I'm ok with that. Pretty…

3/24/12 - 179.2 - .2lb loss (at least it's something) Now it's off to Vegas til Wed. Let's hope I can stay on track while I'm gone. :)

My Stage 2 is complete!! YAY! Taking a week off while on vacation before even looking at Stage 3 ... haha! Have to say that the Squat-Push/Press was my least favorite of all, next to the step-ups (but from what I hear those don't go away). Other than that everything else was great! Really liking how much stronger my core…

Had no idea there were so many Bako people on here. Freaking boring place. Need to move back East LOL Dont' think we have a Krispy Kreme anymore though - not last time I checked.

I used to pre-make egg white burritos and pop them in the freezer. Easy enough to just grab one and heat it up when you are ready. Definitely try to prep the night before if you can. Greek Yogurt with Fruit Oatmeal with Fruit Protein Shake (if you drink them) Cereal and milk Thin Bagel w/ a little PB You can easily make…

Chicken for lunch at least 5 days a week (sometimes 2x's in a day lunch/snack) and chicken for dinner probably 3 days a week. If someone doens't like what I'm making they can make something else :) Chicken is pretty cheap and easy. I will throw in pork chops/ground turkey and steak sometimes. :) I love chicken. Depending…

Definitely put it in writing, but I would also just go in and talk to her. If she's a friend she'll understand and deserves that much at least. Plus she'll end up calling you in there to talk anyway, might as well be honest upfront. The written part is for your record. Hope the best for you and good luck with your move. :)

Ugh we have soooo many of these trees. And I'm allergic to them .. LOL still cracks me up! Great thread idea.

Protein in oats Protein in iced coffee - my new absolute fav - who needs creamer! Greek yogurt w/ berries Lots of Almonds Almond butter/peanut butter :)

Guess I lucked out ... we have 2 machines at our local store ... one does fresh ground almond butter and the other does fresh ground peanut butter. Yes fresh. Kinda like a coffee grinder, but for nut butters. No oils or anything, just the nuts. It's pretty awesome and I've found that I actually like almond butter more than…

Are you doing a particular program? What sorta help do you need? I can be a wealth of useful and useless knowledge at times .. haha :) Welcome.

I always undercook it ... closer to rare/medium rare and then just pop it in the micro for a min (doesn't take long) then it stays moist and you have steak for lunch :) Works the same w/ chicken and pork too. I'm saying go full out raw, but pull it just before it's done. Cut it into smaller pieces, tupperware, zap it for…

Huge Congrats! That was a sweet story! :) There's quite a few places you could go on your honeymoon depending on what you are looking for. And what you both like to do should play a huge factor in that as well. Couple recommendations (since I've lived there): MA - Boston of course is top on the list, so much to do and so…

Weigh in - 3/4/12 - 182.4lbs

I'm in :) Hoping for some good stuff by the end of March :)

The garlic & herb makes really good "alfredo" sauce for pasta too. Just mix it in with warm noodles a little cottagecheese/greek yogurt or some milk and it kinda melts. Soooo good :) It's just good in general though :)

Starting Stage 2 Monday ... decided to take a little break after Stage 1 :) Excited but also a little nervous. I just got used to Stage 1 LOL

2/29/12 - 182.4 **.4 loss ... Not huge but any loss is a good one right?

I just got an FT7 last week I think and I love it so far. It's pretty straight forward, nothing super complicated. As far as accuracy goes it seems on par with others. The chest strap is pretty comfy, in fact most times I don't even realize it's there. The watch portion is a little big, but not bad and you could probably…

Thin Mints win regardless. But for testing purposes, the samoas get really hard in the freezer making them no fun to eat :)
-
Bahahaha! Sounds like me! Inevitably you end up doing it again ... LOL

That's crazy and fun and I'm totally jealous :)

I love my quest bars, 150-170 cals for most of the bars, 20g protein. Excellent taste. I use them sparingly as I can normally get my levels up without them, but sometimes you just want a little "treat". Protein shakes are a good way to go as well. Myofusion makes a pretty tasty protein.
