  • Not in NC, although I know people in Charlotte that ride pretty often. Central CA checking in ... lots of dirt around here LOL I prefer to ride in the dirt (off trail) - but typically have to hit the bike path for certain parts. Hope to get some real mtn bike riding in next weekend! :) Have Trek 8.2 DS - love it. Matter of…
  • Back on and back to it every day! Looks like I'm the closest, just a couple hours north of you in Central Valley! :) I've heard that Joshua Tree has a lot of great places to hike and not too far. Otherwise I haven't hiked much in CA yet, but would love to do it some more.
  • I've been addicted to Subway Surfers lately, so dumb, but gah! My name on most things is either Lexagon or Lexagon80
  • Working today too! But then again we work 365 - 24 - 7 ... customer service never sleeps! At least I get to work from home. But it would be really nice to be sleeping right now. And I'm not even sure why I'm so tired.
  • I've been known to eat cold pumpkin pie with my hands right out of the fridge ... hey it holds its form really well! :) Tis the Season!
  • Your loss ... more for me!
  • Ya'll just made my night! Is it wrong that I'm making an entire batch of stuffing just for me?
  • That's been going on for a long time ... Happened to me a lot back in the days of Halo 2. Guys like to talk trash until you beat them at something and they find out you're a girl, then you're their best friend ... LOL Brandi is right though once some of them find out you are a girl they will defend other girls, it's pretty…
  • Welcome fellow gaming nerd! :) Geek! Whatever you want to go by! :) You should check out a couple gaming groups that are around: Girl Gamers - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/4851-girl-gamers MFP Gamers - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/19-mfp-gamers I'm playing WoW and Borderlands 2 pretty much exclusively…
  • So full of win and just what I needed this AM!
  • You could really do either that or one of the others. I have an 8.4 DS and ride it on and off road. But MTB's can be ridden pretty much anywhere. Trek is a great choice though! :)
  • Happened to me for the first time yesterday ... cracked me up! Was fun though got a couple decent guns.
  • Don't have it yet :( I'm slacking this year....lol
  • That's how I feel too, would much rather be home listening to claptrap yammer on about whatever. Oh the jokes. I'm really enjoying 2 ... it's been a lot of fun so far. Haven't gotten very far, but it's still fun. :) steam - lexagon80
  • Guess I should introduce myself - oops kinda forgot! 31, female, central/so cal - got on MFP almost a year ago with weight lifting and basic cardio (elliptical) to better my health basically. Got tired of being unhealthy! Just started biking again a few months ago (May/June I think). Used to bike all the time in my younger…
  • Got mine pre-ord through Gamestop as well. Had a credit there. Can't wait! :)
  • I'm with theKarens. I just recently purchased a new bike as well. I love the bike, but I made sure to ride a few around first. Only went to local bike shops. Make sure you feel comfortable on the bike. One of the bikes I loved and thought I was going to purchase, ended up not fitting right. Take your time. :) You want to…
  • ^^ Exactly what I was thinking!
  • Want a hovering one .. that'd be awesome!! :)
  • SL B Squats - 100lbs Deads - 135lbs <--- big plates! Excited about the deads, that felt awesome. Can't do OHP right now, stupid shoulder. Going back down to 95 on the squats Wed too. Form isn't feeling right and I don't want to screw that up. Still doing well though.
  • I'll check it out when I get home tonight and back to my computer finally! House-sitting has its perks, but I'll be happy to have my PC back! ;)
  • ^^^ Bahahahahaha!
  • These look amazing! Now to figure out how to make them more protein rich! ;)
  • I started adding a little bit of hummus to mine. Currently either Spicy Black Bean or Spicy Red Pepper, great. Otherwise greek yogurt or sometimes just some mustard. Not a big fan of mayo though.
  • That's exactly what I do. We do necessarily have "spare" oly bars, but we have like 6 different bench/ohp stations that nobody ever uses so sometimes I steal a bar from there. :) Just pick up one end, slide the weights on, pick up the other end and do the same. That's how most do it.
  • I would stay with whatever my last workout was, unless you KNOW you can go up. I was off for 2 weeks and used numbers from the last workout I had done for that day (which was A I believe). Just to make sure that I didn't overdue it. :) Then just move on from there.
  • There's nothing wrong with doing a mixed grip. If that is what helps you get the weight up then use it. Everyone is different. Some people swear by mixed. Some use gloves, some will use straps or grips. I say as long as your form isn't being jeopardized then you are fine. Keep doing whatever you are doing. Added you as…
  • Online Chat Associate - (customer service) You know the person on the other end of that annoying "click-to-chat" button on a lot of websites. I don't know if that's considered nerdy, but it's better than answering the phone all day! :) Not exactly my ideal job, but it pays the bills.
  • Squats - 90lbs OHP - 0 (stupid shoulder) DL - 115 lbs
