In 16 years of marriage, I have never told my husband. When I was pregnant and he would go to the Dr's office with me, I would make him stay away as they weighed me, then put down a number 50 lbs less than it actually was in the little book. He also says he doesn't care, but it bothers me. I MAY end up telling him when…

So many over the years. When I was a teen my mom would say, "don't tuck in that shirt you are too thick through and it looks bad, other girls are thin enough to wear it that way, but you are not". Or both saying, "You are a pretty girl, if you would just lose some weight you would have so many guys asking you out". Was…

I started with the need to lose 125 lbs. It is so hard, but so worth it. Just keep up the good attitude. Some things I have found when I travel. 1- If you have to eat fast food, find the healthiest thing on the menu. Burger king and McD have grilled sandwhich's that are only 6 grams of fat IF YOU LEAVE OFF THE MAYO. Eat a…

I am 46 and have never in my life been happy with my weight. Once, I got out an old tub of clothes that I had worn years before and they were so small compared with what I was wearing right then. I cried because when I wore the old clothes I thought I was so fat, and I would give just about anything to just be able to wear…

I pretty much just started.....again. I realized that I am not superwoman, and for me I am really out of shape and exercising for 30 min a day isn't going to happen right now. Let's be realistic here. I know I should but my body isn't agreeing. So...I have started with what I can. Today I walked for 12 min at a good pace.…
