  • Thanks everyone :) I started lifting 6 pound weights on saturday for 20 minutes a day doing varying arm exercises. The one thing I have learned is that there is no short cuts;... and the best thing to do is take it one day at a time.
  • Thanks everyone! I haven't touched my WII since about October...but I loved Wii Fit Plus, BIggest LOSER and the coach wii fit. I will be taking my wii out again soon, since I am having knee surgery and can't run for about 2 months :(

  • Just an FYI guys, I did the ICE bath...it HURT! But now they feel better. I also bought my sneakers tonight. GOing to take them on a short jog tomorrow after work! :)

  • GOOD Luck to you! I just finished my first half marathon. I had an app on my IPHONE that helped me train. I ran 6 days a week except for the week before my race (where I only ran 1...I also had a knee injury!) GOOD LUCK!

  • I might be in a similar boat for my knee in a few weeks. I am going to try to watch my food intake and increase my water. I am also going to do as much as I can with what I can! GOOD LUCK!

  • I have been at the SAME weight (give or take 3 pounds, 5 during TOM) since October. YES OCtOBER! I have lost inches over that time and actually I have learned to IGNORE the scale. I have days when I screw up, that I don't even record..but this is a LIFE STYLE change, not a diet, not a fad. I know tha tI will not eat well…
  • Thanks for your honest opinion. The pain isn't unbearable. I don't focus on it 24/7/ I did the ellpitical on Saturday and it was pain-free. Then yesterday I felt it. I can move, squat and bend. I know that I will be in pain afterwards, but to me it is worth it to do it. Does that make me a crazy person?
  • I am doing this...it is not about the entry fee, every penny goes to breast cancer research and I have raised over $1,000. I have used the foam roller...It does seem to help. I appreciate your concern for my knee, but I am doing this...I have worked too hard and I can't give up. :(
