You maybe need a new pair of shoes... It's amazing what a difference good running shoes makes. Personally I use Asics.

I had same issue with calves.. ouch.. Do you have a roller? I had a trainer at that time and she said to roll out the muscle. This worked! No more sore calves.

I have grown all three. Have found if you plant the hotter peppers closer to the not so hot (habaneros close to Jalapenos) they will make each other either hotter or milder. So if you want a more sweet habaneros plant a bell pepper next to it, I am told they cross pollenate.

Grab a banana for a quick insulin boost then back it up with a protein shake of choice. I have found this holds me over very well until the morning snack time of course.

Plateaus are bad, I had one for a month. I found that having a "cheat" day helped me. Also take your measurements! True loss can be seen in measurements more than the scale can show. Keep up the great work and you will get through.

Working nights is tough. For me going home and getting your sleep then going to workout before work has worked for me. Good luck.

Hang in there! I went a full month of working out and eating healthy to lose weight. I have been told its usually your fat turning to muscle and don't worry about the scale as much as your measurements.

Panera salads seem to be pretty low cal. I have struggled with this one as well.. Better to plan your meals and eat at home.

Just haveing the treats around is bad. A piece of good advice my trainer told me was either waste it in the trash or waist it around your gut!

and abs, jumping jacks, run in place.. basically anything to get heart rate up and keep it up for a sustained amount of time.

Melatonin.. they make a couple strengths 25 mg and 50 mg. I found that 25mg is more than enough, the misses uses 50mg. I used 50mg once and didn't want to wake up.

Hatebreed and Pantera pretty much get me through the tough workouts.. Throw in a little lamb of god and there you have a great workout! WOW.. found some other really great bands I have never heard off on this thread.

Inches are GREAT! Means you are losing body fat and gaining lean muscle! I had the same thing happen to me. Worked out very tough for 2 weeks didn't drop a pound but lost 3% body fat! Keep up the great work.

I was told by trainer to do low wieghts high reps. When I asked her about not being out of breath she said then up the wieght a little until you find a spot where you are working hard. If you work out with heavy wieght you will add muscle mass and therefore not lose as much wieght as muscle mass wieghs more. I would stick…

This is what I have been doing for the past month and time flies by! Also I have seen my mile time improve drastically by running then walking.

Got a workout in before Thanksgiving dinner, I wiegh in on Fridays and did not gain a pound! Very happy by this.

I use a "Blender Bottle" I get my protein shake in the am then wash out and drink water out of it all day. You can get them for about $7.
