  • Last night I had bacon wrapped asparagus (about 15 pieces, used 3 slices of bacon to wrap) and 2 ounces of chicken breast.
  • Agree with others, I customized the daily macro goals. I have it set at 55% fat, 30% protein and 15% carbs. Fat is highly demonized for no reason, it's super important and you should be eating more fat than carbs for sure. Think of it like hydration. When you are dehydrated your body clings to water and you bloat. When you…
  • Beyond being mentally challenging your body is used to you being at a heavier weight and although you are trying to lose weight, your body is trying to fight it because it doesn't know you are losing weight and getting healthier. And also remember that counting calories isn't the most effective way to lose weight. Also true: lots of protein and veggies and cut out carbs, even complex…
  • To the opinionated gentleman spewing negativity... Trying to change your body while loving yourself is entirely possible. While I want to treat my body differently and change it, it doesn't mean that I can't love it the way it is right now while seeking self-improvement. Wanting to change my body doesn't mean that I…
