Well the problem with my wife is that she needs to loose some weight but I can't get her to either help me with grocery shopping for healthy food or join me.... she is a total addict for refined sugars..... Do I give up or.????

I use runkeeper to track my outside workouts... such as walk or runs, considering fitbit but really not in the mood to buy some more hardware LOL

yep I just tried this recipe http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/black-bean-brownies/detail.aspx not great but not bad either .. wife won't touch it but that's just because I didn't use 2 cups of sugar LOL, have to re taste when everything is cooled down

Depending on your level of fitness I would start really easy with walking and then slowly progressing into running, I have played and coached (kids) futball for many years, you definitely don't want to start full blast..... 30 minutes x day walking, ball touching exercises progress into running/sprinting with ball juggling…

I feel your pain.... same boat here, overall I think working out is a positive thing so you thought you were burning more calories than you actually did... no harm, you are progressing toward an healthier future

I was doing almonds too but the dietician said no nuts for snacks...
