Congrats that is a good feeling.... Now go buy yourself a shirt! :drinker:

Good idea about the warm up... I think I will warm up before the video tomorrow bc my legs are sore and those first jumping jacks are really hard on stiff muscles.

Hey buddies! I was surprised to see that my endurance was up today after I got warmed up. I need to buy a measuring tape... Walmart? Target?

I wasn't feeling motivated to started, but once I got going, it was a tad bit easier.

That is me... I like being under my goal by a bit to boast my self esteem. If I saw the red, I would want to give up and binge.

Woohoo! Good for you! I have 4 lbs to onderland!

Good point! We have saved a ton by not eating out, and we have been eating better by making our own food. Therefore, even though I could personally feed my 8 person family cheaper with crappy, junk food, I can afford healthy, delicious food by living smarter. Regardless of our eternal debate about the price comparison of…

OP, I feel your post is unnecessarily aggressive and doesn't take into consideration the various variables (family size, region, etc) mentioned before me. Eating healthy for my family is more expensive, but it doesn't' mean that we are not making the sacrifice. I am raising FIVE growing boys from 5 months to 14. Some I…

I need active friends too! I am addicted to this site and want more interaction.

Exercising helps me eat less. I see how frigging hard it is to burn 200 calories. When I see a snack, I think is that worth a 3 mile walk? I plan my food in advance and then I graze on it all day long. I am a snacker, so I plan for that. I bring just enough of what I need for the day to work, and plenty of it, and then I…

Love it! I am going to try to do 10-10-10... If I need to go slower, I will go back a level. I didn't think I would make it through the first, but I did. We can do this!

Today was a bit easier for me after I got warmed up. :) I was walking around funny today at work... Lol

Hey there momma! I am raising 5 boys. My 8 year old has aspergers and ADHD. So sorry to hear about your mom. I lost mine to cancer and it was devastating... It's been 8 years and still stings. I have lost and regained weight since I was 7 years old. Now that my tubes are tied, I can lose this baggage and kept it off!

That kicked my fat *kitten*!

Morning ladies! I am just weaning my 5 month old and am ready for more exercise. I am actually below my pre-pregnancy weight, which doesn't say much! SW- 234 CW- 204.6 GW- 175 My group goal is to get to 199 or below. I want to be 'one-der' land again! I am going to do the workout tonight after work...

Tortilla chips- my hubs made a huge delicious fresh steak 'taco' salad. I weighed out the homemade guacamole, steak, beans and piled on the veggies. Instead of reaching for the chips (we used to keep the bag near us and eat away), I opted for some steamed corn tortillas. I chose the healthier option and it was delicious.

Beets are delicious! I am making some now... I cut of the stems/root and then wrap them in foil (keep the skin on.) I roast them in the oven at 450 until you can poke a fork straight through- like a potato. I then peel them semi-warm... The skin comes right off with my hands. I chop them up in cubes, add in chopped up…

I am late to this thread.... Thanks for sharing! This has been helpful. My son is almost 5 months, and I am ready to exercise. I am 7 lbs under my pre-preggo weight, but I still have a lot to lose. I dropped the first 25 by healthy eating but no counting. When I got stuck, I knew it was time to keep a food diary, and the…
