QFT.... All of this.... I drink 2 or 3 Diet Pepsi a day and it has not affected my weight loss, maintenance, overall well being one bit.... Best of Luck though......

Congrats on finding your way, I have been where you was/are and know all to well what you are going through (lost my sister to kidney failure, she was just 49 years young) ... Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and stay the course... You will achieve your goals.... Congrats again...

Yep I eat mine back.... Got fuel up from the workouts I demand of my body to do.... If your using the MFP approach then yes you need to eat them back because your deficit is already built in. If you are use the TDEE approach then no you won't eat them back........ best of Luck

Ditto.... :drinker:

I found it very helpful to not lump foods into categories of good vs. bad..... Are there foods that are more nutritious than others?? Well of course but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the foods you like and continue to lose weight or maintain weight or put on weight... Adjust your diet to work in some of those foods…

Lol I just eat the whole bag and log the serving contents on the back for that bag... but If measuring I would go with loose... Best of Luck

Ok the first thing I got out of this, is you seriously eat alot of salads... lol Seriously though, you can't change others, they have their own choices to make. I ate my way to severe depression and eventually being homebound at 560 lbs. and suicidal.. My whole family watch me go down this destructive path and watch just…

I disagree to an extent here... Being overweight doesn't mean your body still doesn't need fueled properly especially if you are doing strenuous exercise.... It is a good habit to form early on to make sure your calorie deficit is not extreme. A modest deficit to lose weight while eating enough to fuel your workouts is in…

A little preplanning is something you need to work on... Don't wait until 8 at night to force feed yourself, spread those calories out over the course of the day especially if you know you will be doing a 2 hour hike in the mountains that day.... Due to my workouts and being at maintenance I am consuming 4000 calories a…

I use Under Armour Heatgear or Nike dry fit Heatgear to me they are both about the same in how the work.... Brands are a personal choice which is why I tend to stick to these two myself ....... Best of Luck

I agree with the above, I settled on minimalist shoes myself... I use Komodsport LS Vibrams fivefinger shoes when lifting and Brook Pureflow series (non toe minimalist shoes) for Jogging, etc Best of Luck

I eat 1200-1400 calories for breakfast which is 30-35% of my daily caloric intake.... I agree with other though and I fully believe there is no need for meal frequency, the only need is to make sure you are hitting your calories and macros for that day regardless to meal timing... It is more of a personal preference......

What is your calorie goals daily??? Do you go by TDEE or do you use MFP method and eat back your calories.??? How often do you travel on business? if not often can you eat at maintenance so to have extra calories when you are traveling... or if you are traveling alot for business than you really need to learn eat out…

First thing first stop treating this as a diet and exercise plan... It can be nothing short of a total lifestyle adjustment, and needs to be something that is easy to adhere to long term.... Learn to eat in moderation while still allowing yourself the foods you enjoy, and No matter how busy you are,, you can always fit in…

Eat within a caloric deficit if I am trying to lose weight, get my butt off the couch and moving, and log and measure my food.... Beyond that treat it as a lifestyle and what you put into it is exactly what you are going to get out of it.... Best of Luck

The distance is track through GPS so I find it to be pretty accurate but the calorie burn is not link to your heart rate so I don't necessarily trust it but I wear my Polar FT60 when out jogging and go off it over the app..... Best of Luck
-
What is you calorie goal??? and what is your overall goal?? Only you would be able to tell us this.. We have no info (Height, weight, age, activity level, etc).. reading you list though doesn't sound like much to me but hard to tell..... Best of Luck

The only foods that I don't eat are ones that I do not like, other than that I eat whatever I want and have managed to lose a few pounds and keep it off.... There are no bad foods period, are there some that are more nutritious than other?? of course but don't lump foods into categories of good vs. bad, once you learn that…

lol I am in there with those buff guys and they are to busy flipping their shirts up checking out there abs as well as other body parts I highly doubt they even know your there... The rest of us are trying to work on ourselves but I guarantee would be the first to help if you needed it... In other words everyone in the…

I kinda skipped over everything and am wondering why one would think chocolate was bad for you???? lol No but seriously both A and B would lose weight based on their caloric intake and if they were in a deficit to do so, now on a nutritional level for overall health then you would have to go with B but there is nothing…

Thank you :flowerforyou:

Ditto.... and I have a medical condition (Type 2 Diabetes) and still only track Caloric intake and Protein, Fats, and Carbs...

Texas Pete's is my go to on a daily basis, but I do search out other brands to try.
-
Meal frequency has no bearing on weight loss....... Eat to get your calories in for each day regardless of timing..... best of luck
-
Good Luck!!! I will continue to drink both in your honor... lol In moderation I don't see a problem with either but to each their own... Best of Luck......
-
This I don't track it and just make sure I drink plenty of water.... Best of Luck

Mine collects a layer of dust on it now cause it only makes it way out of the closet once a month.... lol It is pure freedom not having to live or die by that arbitrary number on the scale.... :glasses:

Yeah I just couldn't get past the part of throwing out the Yolks lol... So I was not even going to try this but I am liking the idea of using the yolks with the guacamole and this sounds better now... lol Thanks, will add to the recipe pile....
