Take a look at the website Budget Bytes, lots of cheap family friendly recipies that are simple to make. I made the Southwest Chicken Skillet last night using chicken thighs, turned out great and only around 400 cals per portion. Another good receipe site is skinny taste...cooking from scratch doesn't need to be…

Hi I'm from Scotland feel free to add me (diary open to friends) - aiming to lose around 2st by September.

Measuring out your wine in a measuring jug before pouring it into the glass...must get every last drop.

There's an app that's basically this called TwoGrand...meant to make you mindful of what you're eating instead of just shovelling it in. More useful if you're already at maintenance and have a good idea already of portions and what foods to eat. It's kinda hipster.

On my scales you can change the unit from grams to ml...however I think this only works for measuring water as other liquids might have a higher density? I tend to use a measuring jug to be sure.

Are we talking about monsoon weather or just a drizzle? You might just have to get wet or if you're in a motel walk up and down the hallway / run up and down the stairs.

I think of exercise as a non negotiable part of my life...if I want to be a happy and healthy person then there's no if's or but's about it. If I can make myself turn up for work every day then I can also make myself workout! I plan my workouts in advance and think of them like a business meeting that I have to show up for…

Yeah OP chew on some steak that'll help your soft food diet!!

Do you exercise and if you do are you eating back your calories? I'm also 5'1" and 120lbs and I use the TDEE method and eat a fixed 1500 cals everyday plus 5 x per week exercise. I'm losing approx 0.5lbs per week which is recommended when you have <10lbs to lose. At 110lbs you don't NEED to lose more weight as you're in…

The only time I burn anywhere near that amount of calories is when I run 10+ miles or climb a mountain which is usually 3-6 hours of walking and I'm usually wiped out afterwards. I don't think your plan is a very sustainable way to lose weight, much easier eating at a slight deficit and moderate exercise. Sure if you want…

I go to the cinema often and always take my own snacks mostly because it's healthier and a quarter of the price..I'm already paying a fortune for the movie ticket! I usually grab one or two of these and fit them into my calorie budget for the day: - snack bag of popcorn (lots of options in supermarkets these days that are…

I had never heard of this chocolate until my irish boyfriend introduced me to it and omg it's amazing!! For some reason they don't sell it in the UK so I have to beg him to take some back every time he's over in Ireland. Also used to love myself an irn bru bar back in the day but I believe these were taken off the shelve…

I run 4 times per week and I'm training for a half marathon in September. I'm following the hal higdon novice 1 program and averaging around 20mi per week at the moment on week 6 out of 12. I usually go to my local Parkrun on Saturday mornings and try to improve my 5k time + I go to local races as much as I can... five…

At your height/weight your BMR is around 1800 cals - this is how much energy your body needs to stay alive if you were in a coma....even with a mostly sedentary lifestyle 1200 cals is low and probably not sustainable in the long run. To maintain your current weight you would eat around 2200 cal per day so if you want to…

I was once on the train with my boyfriend, we were at a table with 4 seats and were sitting together on one side and a lady was on her own at the opposite side. She started chatting to my boyfriend by asking if she knew him from somewhere, thought he looked familiar blah blah. I tried to join in the conversation but she…

I've been to Italy lots of times and I've always ended up doing a loads of walking (especially in Rome and Venice). The food is just wonderful!! Relax and enjoy your trip but don't go mad, eat like the locals plenty of fresh food eaten slowly with amazing wine and good company :)
-
I'm half an inch off can I join? :) Height: 5ft 1.5 SW 140 CW 122 GW 115 (will probably go lower but this is my first goal) Daily Calories: 1450 Exercise: between 250-600, 5 or 6 days a week (running, walking, swimming & pilates/bodyweight) I eat back around half my exercise cals.
-
I *should* be at my goal as I ONLY have 6 more lbs to lose but they are hard to budge. I'm running a half marathon in September so I'll at least be fit!

I love these turkey meatloaf muffins: http://danicasdaily.com/simply-filling-turkey-meatloaf-muffins-2-points And I make these spinach feta turkey burgers regularly: http://www.eatliverun.com/spinach-feta-turkey-burgers/

I've tried pea protein and it's fine if you mix it into cooked food like soup or bolognese but I wouldn't recommend just mixing it with water or milk...too strong a taste and the texture is slightly chalky.

^^ Agree. Get some counselling for your relationship issues and work on your weight loss separately if that's what you want to do and tell your BF you won't require anymore "motivation" from him.

Mini Twister ice lollies (45cal each) & Solero Exotic Lollies (94cal each) Aldi sell chocolate in mini bars that's really nice. I often get the Moser Roth dark chocolate orange & almond which is 134cals.
