Maybe I will like the yogurt and ranch season mix. I like my salad drenched in dressing - hate, hate, hate when there is only a little dressing and it barely covers the lettuce.
-
I only watch calories (not sure what macro is but I don't pay attention to amount of protein or fiber daily - too much for me as a beginner). I just want something that will fill me up and keep me satisfied.
-
I don't eat leftovers - gross to me. I know - its weird. That is why I would prefer the two servings - so I don't waste food OR eat everything that is left.

Maybe someone can suggest a website that will send you articles about eating right, exercises, healthy living, etc daily to keep you motivated, Any ideas?

Me neither.

Oh yeah so I can still eat out (4-5 slices of pizza -or- 2 subs -or a qdoba burrito AND soup -or- a chicken fried steak, salad, potatoes, and garlic bread). That is how I like to eat out. It's not worth it to eat out if I can't eat what I want. Whatever - thanks for the advice - I will keep plugging away. It's not that I…

Yeah - I know all this. One step at a time, take it slow, etc. I have a wedding next year and don't want to look like the tub of lard in a tux standing next to my 100 pound fiance. I want to be able to play with our kids when they are born or walk to dog without being winded. I want to be able to say YES when people ask if…

Also - I don't smoke weed! Haven't since I was 19 years old. Still just use the same username for everything I do so I don't have to remember more than one.

Oh I can tell you without a doubt I am constantly making excuses. When I think about going to the gym or eating healthy it makes my whole body cringe inside. I have to force myself to do any of this. It's not what i WANT to be doing --- it's what I NEED to do to live longer and look better. If I had it my way I would def.…

If you have to eat pizza eat thin crust and veggies only. The biggest thing isn't eliminating pizza all together - it's only having 1 slice (maybe 2). Order the medium instead of large pizza and only have a 1-2 slices. Portion control.

So you guys suggested the following: 1900 calories 200 carbs 50-60 fat 296 protien (my body weight) That fat seems high for someone trying to lose weight. And my sodium - where should that be?
-
I belong to a gym.

I kind of like some of these: http://www.mensfitness.com/print/58472?page=2

I do drink - only water though. Nothing else (no soda, beer, cocktails, juice, etc). Have not drank sugary drinks in forever. That was my first step. I will eliminate the weight loss shakes and frozen meals as much as I can from here on out. Starting this eating routine as of this morning:BREAKFAST ---> Yogurt w/ Granola…

Now I a thinking - how is a heart rate monitor going to help. I already log my workouts on MFP. How is wearing a heart rate monitor going to change what I input? I know it would help me know if I am in my target heart rate range BUT that I can tell with my little $15 dollar one I have now. Not sure how these more high tech…

Just so you all know I do not smoke marijuana......I did when I was 18 years old but I am 32 now and haven't ever since. It's just a screen name.....nothing more.

I just broke away from only using machines. Now everything except 2-3 exercises is on the free weights. It's just the routine my personal trainer gave me during my assesement. I go back in a month to get another workout. I thought heavy weights / slow lifting was for building muscle and getting bigger. I don't care as much…

Right now besides the cardio (which I would of course love to lose and go to all weights) I do the following and it takes about 30 minutes: 15 reps - 3 sets of each - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dumbell squat pushups (pusing above head) Stability Ball Dumbell Rows Medicine Ball Throw up and Slam Downs 15 reps - 3…

Are these good goals for fat, sodium, etc - or should I adjust them? Your Daily Goal calories 1,970 carbs - 271 fat - 66 protien - 74 sodium - 2,500 sugar - 39

Are there any without a chest strap AND without the two buttons. I found a ALPHA MIO that is a watch that measures through your skin.

My BMR is 2378. I am shooting for 1950 calories per day. Maybe I should lower that to 1850. I will start logging my water - I drink about 50 oz's a day right now. Just need to log it. I normally only weigh myself on Fridays. Might move to once every two weeks instead or something. Maybe I should get a BMI SCALE so I can…

P.S. I track every meal. If it's not there it means I didn't get a chance to eat.
-
Hmmm - I thought I was doing good with food. Used to eat about 5000 calories a day. Now I am eating 1950 or less a day. I thought 1500 was unhealthy - some people said my 1950 is too low....... I wasn't going to eat my exercise calories but someone on another post said I am supposed too! Uggg. Breakfast is always a WEIGHT…

I do not track water - didn't know that mattered. I do not eat out unless it's a rare circumstance like last weekend we had a pizza party for my fiance's dad. Another time recently I was stuck in a strip mall 4 hours waiting for our wedding ring to get done - only food option was a restaurant. All week I never eat out - it…

Not sure how to open my diary....

I track everything I eat - no exceptions. I use whatever calories/nutritional info that MFP has under that item. My typical day is:BREAKFAST SHAKE or BREAKFAST SANDWICH (200 calories) MORNING GRANOLA SNACK BAR (200 calories) LUNCH (usually a healthy choice as I can't leave work) - (450 calories) AFTERNOON SNACK BAR + FRUIT…

Yes - I am a big boy. Started at 302 and lost like 8-9 pounds pretty fas in July. Then I got with my personal trainer and developed a weight busting routine and every since have ended up gaining weight. That started Aug 8th. I will obviously stick with it and keep trying. Last year I lost 30 pounds. I obviously gained it…

Sorry I don't understand. So are you saying that when MFP tells me to eat 1900 calories it knows that I am working out doing circuit training three times a week even if I don't log it based on my activity assessment when I signed up?
-
These are not really the answers I am looking for - was searching for something more website technical related. Don't know what TDEE or MFP means? Other online programs I have used allowed me to go to settings and turn off the SWAPPING exercise calories burned for more food calories. Weight loss is burning more calories…
