I think it's beneficial to have your spouse workout with you; it's supporting each others fitness goals. But I think its nice to balance it and work out solo too.

^ yes this is very true!

I think changing your routine and add more cardio that will help shrink the belly. Sugar & sodium makes the belly bloat too.

Stay away from this hyped up fad diet. It messes with your metabolism, tricks the body naturally to lose weight fast. husband did this last year and he gained the weight back.

It is mind over matter. For me it took a couple of weeks to stop the fast food cravings. Since eating right every day my body seems to have stopped the cravings.

Holidays where I know I will be eating more calories has me motivated to burn calories at the gym in the morning. Otherwise I will get off track quickly. The key thing is to keep things in moderation and not to over indulge.

For me only 7 pounds and I have been on this healthy kick for a month, I still have 20 pounds to go. Being that I am in my older 30's my metabolism is much slower than my twenties. Losing weight in my 20's was much faster than how it is now for me. Key thing is stay focused and consistent and you will achieve your goal.

Yoga. It teaches you to breath, calm the mind and reduce tension in the back.

I think continuous logging in the food journal helps stay on track. Last time I was on here after I came close to reaching my goal, I thought I was smart enough to stop logging in my meals in order to maintain my weight. What a fool I was.... 6 months later I gained, simply because I wasn't tracking and staying active! Its…

On the weekdays I work out after work, from 5-6:30pm. Weekends I like to go in the early afternoon. They say there's benefits working out first thing in the early morning but its hard when you have to get the kids to school.

I never heard of Blogilates but I am intrigued to know more about it. Good for you for sticking to it for this long! Time is the essence on losing weight that's for sure.

We just had some with dinner last night; we cut them in half, sprinkle olive oil, season with sea salt and pepper, then roast them. They turn out tender and very tasty. I never liked the taste of them steamed.

I think it helps to be involved in a community like MFP to keep weight loss goals. Funny thing for me is I started MFP about 2 years ago before my wedding. It was nice to have like minded people to help out. Then I got comfortable and was so easy to forget logging in my meals and the weight I lost, I gained back. So…

Fitting ice cream in a daily healthy diet would be hard, unless 1 scoop paired with fruit, but still this should idea could be for dessert :)

That sounds good on sautéing apple cinnamon slices in coconut oil, I love coconut and I have to try that :)

Low fat because some processed foods have high sugars or bad calories in fat.

Tonight is our bimonthly pizza night, but for me I will have it along with my salad. You can say this is my cheat night lol.
