Add me to the list of those who love their FitBit! I've had mine for about 3 months or so and it's wonderful. I wear it everyday faithfully. It's a great motivator, that's for sure!

Beautiful! You've done awesome. Congrats!!!

I've had mine for about 3 months now and I'll tell you, it was worth every penny to me if not for anything else than motivating me to get myself moving every day to reach 10+ steps. It's a great little tool and I love it! It does a lot of things besides being a motivator, too.

You are crazy awesome!!! I'm so impressed. I'm proud of you and I don't even know you. Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration. :drinker:

I fluctuate a lot during the month very similar to what you described. However, when I do lose the weight after TOM, it's usually permanent. I figured for me it was because I'm going through menopause and my hormones are crazy. The fluctuations were so frustrating that I have recently decided to weigh in only once a month…

I used to weigh in once a week but because I would have so many fluctuations in my weight, I've decided to go to once a month weigh ins. I figure this will give me a more accurate average of how much I lose every month.

I am a mom of 5 but they are all grown up now! It's a job but we learn how to do it as we go along (with God's help)!

You are doing great! Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work! Here's to you! :drinker:

If there's still space, I'd like to join. Do I have to be a runner? I jog a little but mostly I walk. Is that cool? Let me know.

Thank you for the inspiration! I get discouraged sometimes because my WL journey has been so slow but it's stories like yours that help me to keep going. I'm older and I guess I've changed as I've aged. The weight used to come right off but now it's like at a snail's pace. Anyway, thanks again for sharing your story. It's…

Count me in.

Such an inspiration you are! Keep up the awesome work. YOU look fabulous!

I just started 30DS and it's hard for me. I'm doing it every other day because I want to give my muscles a rest between workouts because I'm so sore. I guess everyone has to do it at their own pace and fitness level. I hope to see results as I go on.

I just returned from vacation. We went on a 7-day Royal Caribbean cruise on their ship Oasis of the Seas. It was magnificent!!! I didn't track calories that week and just ate normally. I was up about a pound when I returned home on Sunday. Now back to my lifestyle change.

So awesome! I'm proud of you. Keep up the great work.

Awesome job!

Just saw your story for the first time today. You are such an inspiration to any and everyone on this journey. Congratulations on your weight loss and it is true that "slow and steady wins the race". Thank you for sharing! God bless you!!!

I guess I'll add my 2 cents worth. I'm a bit older but I moved from California to Delaware to be with the man I fell in love with online. While there was a lot of culture shock, I would do it all over again to be with him. It will be 6 years this June since I made the move and I'm happily married to the man of my dreams…

Leaving Saturday for a cruise on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas. This will be our first time on RC but we took a cruise in 2009 on Carnival and loved it. I've always heard RC is better than Carnival so I will see for myself soon.

Hello everyone. I'm fairly new to the group. My goals for May are to start toning with the JM 30 Day Shred I recently ordered. That is, after I come back from my cruise (leaving Saturday). Also, to not overdo it while on my cruise, but make healthy eating choices and do a lot of walking and gym time while away. All the…

Please, please, please invite me. I sooooo want to get out of the 200's. I have like 30 lbs to go. I don't know when the last time was I was under 200. Please and thank you!

I use FitBit and I love it as well! It definitely keeps me motivated. Does anyone else think that the calorie adjustment it sends to MFP is a bit low?
-
It counts your calorie burn throughout the day whether you walk or not. I love mine! It keeps me motivated. It does not count calories accurately for cardio exercise or other types of workouts. You have to manually add those to MFP yourself. But since most of my exercise comes from walking, it works for me. A very handy…
