There is no such thing as thunder. Only Chuck Norris' laughter. xD

Chuck Norris was once driving in a truck, and a drop of his sweat fell onto the leather seat. That truck is now known as Optimus Prime.

@Seaglass: I did have the radiation, however, my thyroid is still in the process of dying off. So when I'm put on medication, by the next 6 weeks when I get bloodwork done, by thyroid count is even lower because it's continually dying off. Although, from my understanding, it most likely won't die completely, and it will…

Thanks for sharing! I have been tired, sluggish, just overall blah ... but I keep on keeping on! Lol. I've been told it can take up to a year for your thyroid to die off completely (or as much as it will) so my levels could be off until late this summer if that's the case. It's not easy, maintaining a healthy diet and…

I try to allow myself two rest days, so usually 5 (sometimes 6) days a week. I do zumba 3 days a week for an hour, occasionally I'll also do 30DS also on those days, and elliptical for 30-60 min in addition to 30DS on the days I don't do zumba. :)

Sounds awesome! I can't wait to try it. :)

"ET" For reals, that little alien scares the crap outta me, always has! As a kid, I still insisted on trying to watch it ... I'd build a fort out of pillow and barricade myself in, with a little peephole to view the terror. *shudders*

This sounds AMAZING.

Yes, there is such a thing as 'starvation mode.' Do some research. That being said, here's a great link describing a great way to lose weight without cutting out so many calories: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/3047-700-calories-a-day-and-not-losing Good luck!

I love fat free (or low fat) cottage cheese with grapes. The Fiber One bars are really good too, especially if you're on-the-go a lot! Someone's mentioned the brownies, but I think the oatmeal/chocolate drizzle ones are best, imo! Honey Crisp apples will always be my number one favorite snack. So juicy and sweet, with the…

I'm 5' 10", shooting for 160-175. :)

My fav recipe: 1 cup V8 Fusion (Concord grape is my favorite kind, also a good serving of veggies in there!) 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (Excellent source of protein and tastier than protein powder, imo) 1/2 frozen fruit (Mixed berry medley is usually what I use) 1/2 ice Blend together and voila! Sometimes I'll also put a packet…

Haha. I'll try it. Thanks!

Thanks! What are barbell squats? How do they differ from regular squats? :)

Lol! xD ^_^

Wow, thanks for all the replies! I thought I'd get notifications or something if someone commented, well, I was wrong! Just saw all these :) I'm so happy to have met some people on MFP that also have thyroid issues - as supportive as my family and husband are, they don't *really* understand what it's like. When your…

I had hyperthyroidism for several years, and finally opted for the radioactive iodine (the lesser of the two evils in my opinion) this summer, because my hyperthyroidism was out of control. I have hypothyroidism now, and just started the Levo about 6 weeks ago. From what I've heard, and experienced, it is nearly impossible…
