Amazing! What kind of exercise do you do? What's your average net calorie intake? Your photos are inspirational!

While my cals are set to 1500, I usually eat between 1700 - 2000 per day and I lost 6 lbs last month.

These answers don't surprise me. Most men I know are pretty appreciative of a woman's natural body and understand that love happens with personality, not breast implants or lack of stretch marks ;) It's unfortunate that TV/movies and magazines/media have a lot of women convinced of what men like, or don't like... Thanks…

Reading a lot of these reminds me of a time when I probably embarrassed one of my ex-boyfriends close friends in this way. There were 6 of us trying to get somewhere and I was the only one with a car. We were in the boyfriend's hometown, so he knew the way to go and said he'd have to drive (this is before GPS) So I began…

I'm not sure if this will work for you, but when I pre-log my calories and what I'm going to eat I stay accountable to myself. Tonight I plan on going out to eat and drinking beer, and so I've already completed my food diary and put in every beer I anticipate having and put in the food I plan on eating at the restaurant.…

Charlie Hunnam, but he'd have to be doing an American accent the whole time. Sorry... other accents are a huge turnoff :/

I have to second you here. I'm not a doctor, and certainly don't take 800mg if you were told not to because of a health problem. But, when I have bad cramps or a migraine, I will easily take 800mg of ibuprofen in a day. I don't do this for consecutive days, because ibuprofen does harm to stomach lining over time. The…

This TOM I only skipped one day. Normally I just pop a Midol and do something, even if it's just 15 minutes on the elliptical, mostly to keep the routine going if nothing else. I have extremely heavy periods (to the point where I can ONLY use pads because Tampons... yeah... NO. AND extreme cramps. I find that on weeks that…

HA! I have not seen the "what counts as water" thread, but I'd love to. Sounds like hours of endless reading entertainment ;)

Just saw this... I'm in! SW: 166 CW: 164 GW: 161 Weigh in Dates: 2/1 166 2/8 164.4 2/15 2/22 2/28 Winter usually makes me want to stay indoors, and I've always despised gyms... The rainy weather has simply forced me to get a gym membership. Fortunately, I've been using it almost every day and I'm learning to love the gym,…

Wow. You are an amazing person, a testament to how strong one can be and how much we can accomplish! Yay for Jackie too :)

About 8-9 years ago I switched from cows milk to soy milk because I suddenly became lactose intolerant in my early 20s. After drinking soy milk in my cereal and by itself for about 2 years, I became allergic to that too! It makes my throat close up so I can't breath. So now I can drink Goat's milk, but it's very expensive…

I got laid off. My job was causing me so much stress, it was 99% of the reason I was bingeing. The extra 1% of the reason I have been working on since I got laid off, and I've been doing really well with positive encouragement from my SO. Now I know I can't get into a stressful work environment, I have to keep my health in…

Fluctuating by 10 lbs in a day is totally normal. I retain a LOT of water, and I have had days where I will weigh 8-10 lbs heavier at different times of the day if my body decides to retain water. People actually don't believe me when I tell them this, but I've measured on different scales & at the gym. It's just how my…

This will sound quite vain: My thighs. I'm losing inches everywhere, but my thighs never get smaller. Hopefully after the two month mark I'll see some improvement. But I know that just as it came on (in different places first, then others) It will come off the same way... thighs last. *sigh* ARGH.

Incredible! My jaw was dropped to the floor!

My SO grew up in a rural area (population several hundred) and we really want to buy a house there to live part of the year (its gorgeous: mountains, rivers, lakes, fishing...) But he is worried about the increase of meth making/addicts. We live in Oakland, CA now which is known pretty well for its crime, so we're quite…

Before MFP I ate 1200 calories a day and I was *gaining* weight at a slow but steady pace. My metabolism was being destroyed! Now I eat 1500-2000 cals a day and I've been losing 1.5 lbs per week. On days that I feel hungry, I eat more... but I don't binge on food like I used to because MFP keeps me accountable ;)

I'm just like you! What I realized is that I have to eat breakfast a lot later in the day, or skip lunch. I have to stay between 1400-1700 calories, and if I eat breakfast around 11am OR lunch at 5PM, then I can eat a whole other meal or snacks between 8-11PM and not go over my calorie goal.

First, congratulations! You're an inspiration. Second, I adore that gold dress.

I was shocked at In N Out burger's calorie counts for everything on their menu. I was also shocked when I put in "sunflower seeds" ... I love those things and they're SO high in calories!

SHE WON $250,000!!!! I would have done the same exact thing!

I have not tried this way of eating, but I was curious to know that if people doing it for a long period of time feel that on the days they "fast," they wake up the next morning feeling more rested and with more energy? For some reason, if I eat less calories than expected in one day, I sleep REALLY well and only need 6-7…
