Pole dancing, no question!

These used to be my everyday pole shoes, but I've destroyed them! Notice that I've worn a hole in the plastic! They'd glow under blacklight too....also my shortest, so most manageable pair!

NICE!

Whenever I invert, I still have a spotter so I take them off for that. I have kicked about 3 people so far and caused one to bleed (being 5'11" you got to move out of my way when I spin!) so I'm careful now lol!

Not a small difference?!! Craziness you look tiny! Congrats all your hard work is paying off!

I'm so sorry this happened to you! I agree with others, you should say something, even if its only writing a terrible yelp review about her!Don't let this discourage you on your journey! I had a terrible experience with a doctor when I was 5. He told me I was "fat", along with a long winded monologue about all the problems…

Depends where I'm at, at the Pole Dance studio its shorts or cropped pants I can roll up into shorts and a tank top. At home it undies and a tank, especially when I'm poling at home, but really for anything (yoga, stretching, general pushup/situp/etc). Just super comfy with no bulky fabric in the way.

I have not dealt with all you have had to deal with, but I had quite a hard couple of years before I decided to commit to losing weight and have no doubts I will make it happen. I am also an emotional eater and stress eat something terrible, especially because I am ALWAYS stressed out. What makes me so sure about losing…

Its actually a spin I learned early on and is pretty easy, I think some people call it a backwards showgirl. You can see it here: http://poledancedictionary.com/moves/243/backwards-showgirl/ . One handed you take your inside hand off the pole and grab your stilettos, whats tricky (for me anyways) is if you have a large…

Just got back from class tonight and manage quite a few new things!! First, I climbed the 14' poles to the top on my bad side (I'm really good with spins working both sides, but avoid my bad climbing side like the plague) and second, I climbed (on my good side) without heels to the top(another win since it takes a lot more…

I'm 5'11" and the highest heels I have and have worn are 7.5" tall!! I only wear them for very specific events, and I definitely can't be walking around too much LOL, but they are so badass! Also I regularly wear 6.75" heels since I pole dance!, so i love high heels. My BF is 6'2" so any heel over 4" and I tower over him,…

I'm 5'11.5" and my goal weight is 175!!! I have never been that small (at this height anyways) and am curious when you are that weight what size you wear, hope thats not too invasive, but just super curious! thanks!

Hi! Im back on MFP after about a year (and even then I wasn't very committed). I've been poling for over a year and actually now work as a studio assistant at the studio I attend and just got a pole for Christmas!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE pole! It is actually plays a very large part in why I'm losing weight. I'm sporting some…

I would love some help with this too. At the moment it depends on the class I'm taking, I take 2-3 class a week, ranging from " Yay! I know how to do that!" to "Holy crap, what do you want me to do and how many times!". For the easier class I log in the time doing stretching as stretching and then the actual time on the…

Yep you'll always get bruising and feel sore, but it will get less with time and certain parts of the body that consistently get used will get used to it and not become as sore or bruise as much. Been doing pole for over a year now and I'm still covered with them. To prevent bruising or at least make it not last as long…

The majority of guys I've dated have been my height or shorter, the majority of guys I get hit on by are shorter than me (at times MUCH MUCH shorter), but I am definitely more attracted to guys who are taller. Its a personal preference, not shallow, I've always been more attracted to taller guys. What I have noticed and…

5'11" with about 80 lbs to lose and I eat about 1500-1600. In the past I have eaten at 1400, 1200, and even under 1000. At 1200 I had headaches all day, was constantly hungry and grumpy. At 1400 that was the smallest I was able to eat without feeling crazy all the time, but doesnt work if I'm active at all. At 1000, that…

I'm 5'11" and 25. Not really sure what my goal weight is, but 175 seems about right for wanting to be size 8/10.
