I auditioned for my studio's show, Rhinestone Cowgirls Pole and Burlesque Show, this past Sunday and made it!!! This is a for reals show, not the little studio parties I usually perform at, but a thing people pay a decent amount to eat dinner at and watch. *eep* I'm super nervous but also super excited! If you're in the LA…

Quick question - It looks like you want to lose 15 lbs. Are you overweight (medically) or just wanting to weigh less (I know that its somewhat subjective)? But if you are trying to get from a size 8 to a size 6 that weight is essentially vanity weight that your body doesn't need to lose and its going to be A LOT tougher…

I started having people concerned about my weight before I was ever overweight and even though my parents were very gentle and not pushy or mean about it, I can honestly tell you that the more people made my weight (good/bad/whatever) an issue the more I ate. I was an emotional eater too and it wasn't till people backed…

If you don't like your body for you thats one thing and probably not eating as much protein is the way to do it. But it seems like your critics got in your head, because you look quite slim and toned vs. muscular/bulky or masculine. I'm sure lifting will help with my pole dance practice, but you're right its not going to be great with the weight loss. I'll check out the hiit workouts and am going to start running, but it will be more like fast jogging! Protein is really tricky for me to get enough of so I think I'll pick up some protein powder!

If you are used to brass and slip on it, then I would definitely stick with brass because chrome will seem incredibly slippery. I am used to chrome at my studio, but of course they have some wear from tons of people using them so when I got my brand new xpole in chrome it seemed crazy slippery, but I have figured out how…

I'll be posting another freestyle dance I did soon, I realized I did the same moves OVER AND OVER lol. Ah well, you live you learn. I definitely make strange faces while doing a new move - maybe thats why I don't do new moves in performances and end up repeating myself ;D. I checkout your blog - looks great!! I'm not sure…
