I did go see a chiropractor for the first time today and she said I had a misalignment in my spine. We're going to start a progressive treatment over these next two weeks, so I'm hoping that will help!

Anyone?

I have IBS with constipation and am taking Miralax, GasX, and a strong probiotic. If I feel myself getting too constipated I will drink an herbal laxative tea before bed. I was initially so backed up that i went to the ER and thinking it was something more serious. So I definitely don't want to wind up back there. I was…

I'm obsessed. I go through 2 jars a week. I know there are some more expensive variations, but i've never tried them. I never mix it with water to make pb though... I sprinkle it on my bananas, apple slices, dip rice cakes in it, mix it in my oatmeal, ect. It's amazing, and a lot less cals than dipping into a pb jar!

Any one?

I use a heart rate monitor, so hopefully they're not too far off. THANKS!

bump! I've been trying to lose the 'last 5 lbs' for forever. It doesn't even really matter anymore i suppose.
-
Thank you so much everyone!! I will definitely continue on with what I'm doing. Good to know it hasn't been affecting all my hard work!
-
Thanks! I wasn't aware of this. Makes sense though
-
Thanks! I always forget how slow the process is. This is a good reminder and motivation :)

I just hate going to bed knowing I didn't use up all those nutrients I just consumed, and that I'm maybe even storing the food as fat or whatever since I'm not exerting any energy during sleep.

Yess girl!! I haven't stepped foot in a gym in over a year and I've lost 10 pounds from their videos alone! They are my savior. I invested in a heart rate monitor to make sure I'm logging my exercise calories correctly, and they're pretty spot on usually. I don't have internet access right now, but i've picked up so many…

I have my TDEE set at 'Couch Potato/Lightly Active' and then I eat back my exercise calories. I still usually workout on the weekends, and am out and about during the day. So pretty active I guess

That's awesome! I actually did give IF a shot a few months ago. I had really good results the few weeks I tried it., and I loved eating my days worth of calories is a shorter time. I would finish dinner around 7:30 and wouldn't eat till 10:30-11:30 the next day. I did this cycle because sleeping is the only time I can go…

Though I don't have much to lose, I still feel like my body fat % is too high. So lower my body fat, and lose a few more inches in my problem areas… (thighs, biceps, stomach/lowerback) Any ideas? My diary is open. Thanks for all the comments!

I started getting serious about exercising and eating right back in July.. and 6 months later I've only lost around 8 pounds. I see people on here losing a pound a week, and I'm at a pound a month :frown:

Thanks you two! I might lower my calories to 1400 after seeing your numbers. Anyone else want to share their daily calorie intake, please?!

I put half a serving of chocolate chips (35 cals) … 1/4 serving of Chocolate Fiber One cereal (20 cals) … and a serving of Chocolate instant pudding mix (35 cals) in my egg white oats every morning. There's also protein powder and a few other nutritious things in there to balance it out. It's the perfect treat, and a great…

I cook my meat on Sunday or Monday (whenever I get a chance). Usually just grill up some chicken breast or turkey burgers and store it in the fridge. In the morning I weigh my meat out and ziplock it. I weigh my frozen vegetables out and ziplock them.. And then I portion out some spinach into Tupperware. Come lunch, I…

I realize that measurements are much more important... but do you guys think I'm losing muscle since I had no change in measurements but a change in weight?
-
I know. Weird that it took me months to realize this! I've been so worried about the number on the scale, and now I just feel stupid that I was so focused on that and not measurements.

http://www.leangains.com/2012/06/why-does-breakfast-make-me-hungry.html ^^ You should take a look around this site. I found it extremely helpful! I've been experimenting with intermittent fasting (stop eating at 8:30pm and eat the next day around 11:30am) and it's actually been much easier than I thought! Not to mention,…

SAME! Weekends will be the death of me! I'm not on a diet, but eat very healthily and I think I'm too restrictive with my diet in general, so on the weekends I allow myself to relax a little. I end up going crazy on sugar and carbs and feel super guilty about it. I'm using October as a plea to get back on track. Even…

This is a great idea! It's going to be hard, but I will definitely try it next time I'm out.
-
My point is that there's times when I'm out or not around my scale that I have to eat.... those are the times I overeat and even binge because I'm so used to eating everything in front of me. Like I said originally, I have a problem with overeating and binging that I'm trying to break.
-
I'm trying to break my habit of overeating... I read I should start with not clearing your plate.

Google lower back exercises (deadlifts, bent over rows, bridges, hyperextensions are a few I do). Even core work would be beneficial. I've been struggling with this too, so hopefully you get some good answers
