Yeah, if something has a barcode, I scan and use that. If it doesnt, that means its meat or vegetables so I add usda to the search and use that. I find it to be a fairly simple process.

When I was married, whenever my hub and I got into an argument, I would head out the door and take a bike ride. It helped clear my head and calm me down so that when I got back, it would be easier to resolve whatever issue we had. So it was a win-win method for me.

You said it yourself...volume and weight are not interchangeable. You would not try to figure out how much you weigh with a tape measure, so why try to figure out how much food weighs using measurements for volume? Impossible. Weigh your food.

Same here...Ive lost about 15 lbs and many inches...yet my clothes still all fit and feel the same. Maybe a slight difference, like the waist of my jeans are a bit big now so I have to wear a belt, but in my hips and thighs...the inches are gone (supposedly!) but my clothes are still as snug as always.
