  • Sw: 201.1 Cw: 197.5 Total pounds lost: 3.6 YaY! But I coincidentally started my diet the same day this challenge began. The first week or so tends to be a huge loss cause of water weight. But whatever, Im happy for the progress :)

  • Okay yeah, lets break this down... You said you've been gaining 5+ pounds a week.. how many weeks are we talking here? 2 or 3? Which means at least 10 to 15+ lbs youve gained possibly more? That is insane for sure, consistent massive weight gain like that is completely beyond water retention, and definitely not fat…
  • Ugh.. I cant imagine never eating at a restaurant again for the rest of my life. That is never going to happen. Horrible advice... better is to learn how to eat at a restaurant than to avoid the challenge altogether. What struck me is you saying you graze on the leftovers on the way home in the car. Im always the driver,…
  • Honestly, it sounds like she is projecting her own issues and struggles with weight loss onto you. She may not (and Im thinking...really is not) doing it on purpose. The lunch issue sounds a lot to me, like she is trying to live vicariously through you since she wont allow herself to have the things she wants, to get some…
  • Thats a win!!!1 I never really ate much at Wendys... I went for the Frosty and would get a burger to go with it LoL! But my new favorite thing is the small chili with a baked potato. They really do have some good options when trying to look out on what to eat I have to say!
  • When I cook dinner, I also make enough for leftovers. Before I even sit down to eat, I portion out and pack up the leftovers into single serves. So now, seconds are completely out of the question. Then, I sit down to eat...and I focus on just that. That way Im not just mindlessly eating and stuffing my face until Im so…

  • Im in sales, and my job is not to make people feel bad about themselves, its to make them feel good about our products and buy them. My job is to convince people that my product filled a need..whether a need they currently have, or had no idea they had until I brought it to their attention. Thats what sales and marketing…
  • I suppose its safe to say you dont consider Micheal Phelps a top performing athlete!! Breakfast: Three fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayonnaise. Two cups of coffee. One five-egg omelet. One bowl of grits. Three slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar. Three…
  • Not a fan of mint chocolate...but I have to say, those pictures you posted Annette... very *very* tempting! If I ever see them around Im going to have to give it a chance. So far, Ive only had the cookies and cream which I really liked, and the cinnamon roll which was good but too sweet for me, not something I could eat…
  • LoL! Thats my hope! To get to the point where the rest of me looks so amazing, my breasts get a pass! I have no idea how big I got when I was pregnant...I stopped wearing bras the last month because I just couldnt afford to buy any and was pretty sure I was going to strangle myself to death with the ones I had. But I could…

  • I dont think anyone is saying they wont change..just that it wont be a dramatic change. One cup size is not dramatic..and Im guessing they didnt go from a full size to deflating like baloons out of air either? LoL Thats kind of the difference between going down in size relative to overall weight loss, and when its the…

  • I track everything that isnt 0 calorie... and even then if it has any sodium content I track it. But yeah, I put molasses and a 0 calorie syrup in my coffee. Even if I dont use the molsses, my syrup can still have between 15-140g of sodium in it, so while my overall drink comes to 0 cals, I still want to stay on top of my…

  • You know..for *yeeears* ever since I had my daughter, I wanted implants... like all kinds of bad! Then, over the past couple years I was like, omg, why would I ever? Ive matured, beyond all that..Im gonna love me for ME!!! Yeah, then I lost this weight, have back the breasts I used to have and it hit me..OHHHH YEAH thats…

  • Also, our bodies do need salt to function... While too much of it can cause water retention and bloating, just drink more water. Like mentioned..the goal is to lose body fat, not water. Water retention is nothing in the grand scheme of things in terms of weight loss.
  • Im hoping that it IS the case! LoL!!!! I need something to look forward to here!!!!! Im very small (when within my normal weight range) as well...if I get to have breasts that I actually get to keep when I hit my 40's..then I'll tell you what, come on 40!!!!! ETA: Awe...I just did a bit of research, not much, but…

  • Im going to have nightmares after reading all those restrictions! Oye!!!! Yeah, my suggestion? Wait this challenge out...see how your friends manage (cope) with it. I have the feeling that what they experience will be enough to satisfy your curiosity of whether or not this sort of eating plan is worth it.
  • I have people on my friends list who have lost a dramatic amount of weight, but they still have a sizable bra size..even when their breast size went down, relative to the rest of their loss, it looks the same, or even actually bigger now that the rest of them is so much smaller. On the other hand...my breasts were the very…

  • Wow..yeah, I feel you. Im thankful for kiddo, she is the only person in the world to know just how bad my anxiety can get, but shes super patient and so understanding. And to be honest, is a huge reason why Im as grounded as I manage to be, cause she will convince me to get out there, and I was really touched when a couple…
  • 6 cookie pack listed as: about 1 serving (57g per serving) ; 270 cal per serving What you linked to as the 3 cookie pack is actually listed as: about 9 servings (3.4g per serving) ; 160 cal per serving Seems that its not the exact same cookie involved...the must be much smaller, more cookie less cream I'm guessing, to make…
  • Definitely!!! Heres the clip I was talking about...Called The Science of Awkwardness. Posting about it here reminded me Ive been meaning to watch it with kiddo, and she said that it was really interesting and took a lot of it to heart. https://youtu.be/o268qbb_0BM I have an anxiety disorder, and can relate to the pep talk…
  • When I see someout out running, I dont notice them any more than I would someone walking their dog or pulling out of their driveway...just, people noise. BUT If I notice someone who is our running or even doing a walk and they look like they're struggling, I do notice... cause I start thinking of how they are out there…
  • AWE!!!! Im so incredibly proud of you, and honoured to have you as a friend!!!! Really wonderful too, to read your whole story and just how far youve come in just one year. Happy Anniversary you stunning, motivated, goal reaching goddess you!
