& don't forget to get refitted every 6 months, or more frequently if you're losing weight :)

I plan what I do beforehand and then anything extra I write down in the changing rooms afterwards.

Everything you put in your body is a chemical. I've seen no decent evidence to suggest that artificial sweeteners are really bad for you. Personally, I'd just keep using them if they help you meet your calorie goals. Only other way around it is to work sugar into your carb macros (edit: and calories, of course).

how rude

toast ice cream flavoured yoghurt

ain't nothin' wrong with it if it fits your calories (and macros if tracking them...)

Walk to the furthest Dunkin's you can reasonably find. Enjoy your coffee, calories and all. Walk back!

Power naps. I've never slept very much and sleeping a full 8hrs (or more) makes me overtired, so a lot of the time I'll sleep just a few hours and then take very short naps if I ever need to. Works for me because I run better on less sleep and I find myself more alert. Maybe you're one of those people. :) edit: oh, and a…

MFP estimates are often over optimistic, too. I usually take about 15% off MFP's burn estimate.
-
Wow, the last 2lbs really made a difference! Well done on your loss, you look fab. :)

I agree!

It's a 4chan invention!! (seriously, look at all the posts about it online: they're ALL within the last few hours and all MFP posters making threads about it have it as their first & only post)
-
1 post? I definitely think it's a 4chan invention.

That would require more work from the denizens of tumblr than simply skipping dinner.

Surely it's more of a genetic/bone structure thing, like the thigh gap? Easier for some than others. I have a 'bridge' as I don't put much weight on around my hip bones, and I found most of the photos quite unattractive because I'm so used to looking down at my own tummy and seeing the gross rounded bulge in between, haha.…

Yep. Mini Green and Black's bars are my favourite (70% cocoa ones are to die for). Or sometimes Nakd bars, or little things like Fudge bars. It's all about portion control.
-
I often pre-log my basic meals as I always know what I'm cooking each week, but I like to snack so often I leave some calories spare for the odd mocha or suchlike.
-
?? As much as I love my spreadsheets, I just tend to have a notepad. Rather than keeping an inventory list and deciding what I eat from that, I choose my meals for the week and then buy the ingredients to suit. Works pretty well although I will have some storecupboard essentials which I always 'top up' e.g. pasta, oats.
-
Yes. I usually log them (under a generic spice entry) if I can be bothered. The calories are pretty much negligible but for me it feels good to have a recipe logged to completion.
-
Greek yoghurt. It's good plain but sometimes I add sweetener and cocoa, or add frozen berries & blend for frozen yoghurt.
-
I tried to give blood but I'm too small :(
-
> Cook your own food > Use the recipe tab to track its calories and number of portions > Freeze and defrost when needed Saves money, and gives more control over what I'm eating. Also, freezer bags are really pretty inexpensive (at least where I am)!

but if you're worried enough to ask...it could be that you are. Your university will probably offer psych support, at the very least. They won't send you to 'some clinic', inpatient is usually reserved for those who are physically ill from their disorder. Best of luck to you.
-
Then request you see another psych because that one wasn't working for you. People do recover from EDs on their own but the rate of relapse is fairly high - it's safer to recover with help so you do it right and don't fall into dangerous traps that lead to relapse. Also, there is nothing inherently wrong with meds,…

I like salmon in a salad with sushi rice, chopped cucumber, chopped bell pepper, shaved carrots, greens if I have them in the fridge, toasted sesame seeds and a dressing comprising sesame oil, mirin, soy and rice vinegar. It's actually quite nice warm, too.
-
Recovering (or recovered, dare I say?) bulimic here. Over-exercising may be a symptom of eating disorders such as non-purge type bulimia or anorexia athletica. It's definitely worth seeking psych help for as these attitudes to food can rapidly develop into disordered habits (such as those you described) that can seriously…

I've heard it's okay to eat once or twice a week, but may increase the risk of bowel cancer if consumed on a daily basis. I can't remember where I heard this, however, so you can put as much or as little faith in this as you like. edit: okay, the NHS has some guidelines as to how you portion red meat.…

Coffee and a teaspoon of honey. I desperately need to get to the shops.

It's nonsense - acidosis is a fairly rare phenomenon and eating a bit of acidic food won't cause it because your body has buffer systems to regulate its pH. It's only when something severe happens (e.g. drowning) that those buffer systems fail and the pH goes awry.
