People need to relax about the cauliflower pizza crust, zucchini ice cream, etc. Sure, you don't NEED to eat those things to lose weight, but sometimes it's a hell of a lot easier to create a caloric deficit with substitutes. (not that I've tried the ice cream. I go for frozen berries & greek yoghurt blended...mmmm) And…

Ice cream, yoghurt, cheesecake. Lots of dessert foods. Anything still in its packaging instead of measured out and put into a bowl. Sometimes I will measure stuff and put it back into the carton/tub because I get a weird happy thrill from eating straight from the jar.

I think 1-2 rest days a week are always a good idea to reduce the risk of injury and give your muscles time to recover. I find it leads to better performance, too. Have you tried a split routine, if you're doing weights? That might help you, as it only looks at certain muscle groups per day so you'll get workouts in…

You burn 1,500kcal per day?! What kind of cardio are you doing, may I ask?

American bacon is gross. I just don't see why you guys like it so crispy!

Your body gets more efficient at dealing with heat etc as you work out more. I didn't overheat so much, but as a ginger person, my face went VERY red when I started working out. Now? I definitely still have rosy cheeks after a workout, but it's nothing like the scarlet embarrassment I had before.

This is doubtless going to be a hard time for you, but it's a better time than ever to focus on your health if only as a distraction tool. Working out can do a world of good for your mood, and the sense of achievement that you get from losing weight or embracing a healthier lifestyle will really help. Set yourself small,…

I don't see why it would be considered 'unhealthy'. Just make sure that you're getting the right macro & micronutrients (and that the tea isn't using up calories you could use to fill those goals) and there's no problem. If it's sugary then you want to watch out for your teeth, of course

I googled the recipe and found it online at thehealthyfoodie.com which states that it is 312kcals for 1/4 of the pizza. It's also got the full nutrition there. ETA:

Tea and coffee (both unsweetened and sans milk). I figure that I burn the calories that are in it by actually getting up to make the stuff.
-
Depends how much you drink of it per day! If it's making a significant dent in your calories per day and you're still hungry, it might be a good idea to cut down on it a little and replace those cals with food. You can also make your own iced peach tea, if you can find peach tea leaves (or bags) at the shops. With…

I'm with you on the booze. Actually, the main reason I quit is just that it has the capacity to make me extremely maudlin - but for some reason 'I'm trying to lose weight' seems to come off as a better excuse to most people. The equivalent calories in ice cream make me much happier.

If it's bumping your carbs up, then yes, you need to cut the cordial. (As someone who knows little about keto dieting)

Weird coincidence but I also made fried rice today (seemingly enough to feed a Mongol horde, or in my estimates, 9). I used 'stir fry oil' which is a blend of sesame oil, ginger-infused and garlic-infused oil. You could just use sunflower or sesame and then add garlic and ginger. I also used Quorn instead of chicken. 250g…

Get someone to do that thing when they hold your arms by your sides as you try to extend them horizontally and then have them let go = instant floaty feeling

Nobody will ever know unless we give a feather a central nervous system and proceed to invent a machine with the function of swapping perceptions

Oh, haha, that makes a lot more sense!

Enjoy your workout, enjoy your makeup, whatever floats your boat (unless your mascara is made from human blood, or something)...but no makeup =/= looking like *kitten*! (I hope not, anyway, or else I've been looking like **** 99% of the time  )

I think it's less about simply using perfume and more about the amount used. For instance, using half a can of 'body spray' (not even actual perfume, just the cheap tacky stuff you can get at Superdrug or wherever) in a confined space in the changing rooms is just inconsiderate and could make anyone cough, asthmatic or…

There is a difference between anecdotes from individuals and 'decent evidence'. Also, could be placebo. If they don't work for you, fair enough, don't ingest them, but I'm yet to see evidence (that isn't 'natural' quackery or anecdotal) that they're bad for the general populace.

I'd just use the recipe tab and then log one serving as one slice or one roll. Ain't nothin' wrong with white bread, you'll just get a bit less fibre (although I think that wholemeal is MUCH tastier). Re the yeast: just log the sugar calories. Yes, the yeast converts sugars into (ethanol) alcohol and CO2 (which are mostly…

You can lose the weight, but no matter what they do, they'll still be a ****.

No, cheese is gross!! I can only tolerate mild cheese like mozzarella, and even that usually has to be melted and with a strong flavour (e.g. on a pizza or in a panini).
