Also, does anyone have any advice regarding the results and recovery formula? I'm in the UK and can't buy it, but have been reading about alternatives such as chocolate milk. Can anyone recommend a good alternative for me: a woman that wants to be really toned but not be massively muscley, and my hubby: who wants to build…

Thanks. I'm sure I'm not going to NEED to do the extra exercise, however as I said I don't want to waste my gym membership but I also enjoy doing other forms of exercise too. I was planning on doing Insanity in the morning and then doing a class/swimming or whatever on an evening maybe 3 times a week. I guess I will just…

Thanks everyone, I shall make sure I drink lots of water then. When we say LOTS of water, how much are we talking, 8 glasses? Or more? Don't really want to go down the pill route but thanks for the advice. I've also heard drinking lots of tea can help, is this true? I love tea so this wouldn't be a problem for me! Lol

Definitely agree with the jelly. I also love the low fat/calorie hot chocolate type drinks, the whole cup has 40 calories, satisfies the sweet craving but also takes a while to drink so lasts a while and fills me up if I'm a bit peckish. Or if I want a quick fix I will vary occasionally dip a teaspoon in the golden syrup…

Lol I hear this all the time, and the looks I see people giving the 'skinny' girls at the gym is horrendous!! :)

I have this problem, I always feel guilty if I talk about anything to do with exercise or eating healthily with some of my friends especially. The only way I get round it is I always feel like I have to emphasise the fact that I'm trying to get fit, healthy and toned BEFORE I mention anything else! I do have some friends…

I've just had a quick search around the internet for places near me that do food allergy testing. I found a place that is very reasonably priced (£45), but I'm not sure how effective their method of testing is, does anyone know anything about this... "The test is non-invasive - we do not take blood, scratch or inject your…

Hhmmm thats got me thinking... I wonder if I AM intollerant to something. Something to investigate further I think. This is a very long standing problem, I've been like this for as long as I can remember. In fact thinking about it I'm not just bloated after meals, its most of the time! In fact the only time I'm not is…

Thanks everyone, I've just tried the online calculator and it's coming up with approx. 2200 calories per day for my TDEE, that sounds a little more realistic to me. Even though I wrote accurate, I didn't actually think it would be accurate, just a more precise estimate! The thing is I don't think a lot of these calculators…

Good point, and thanks

Thanks very much, I'm in the UK but shall look these up and see what availability/prices are. Another option, is there such thing (and if so does anyone know of one) as a free online calculator that can work out a reasonable estimate? The calculators I've looked at just asknfor your height, weight, etc plus if you exercise…
