  • I can't do cereal either, I am starving a half hour later. For the past 6 months every day I just make peanut butter toast with one 35 calorie slice of wheat bread, and that keeps me full until my yogurt snack in 3 hours. Just eat something with protein and you should be full, maybe even check out the Special K or Kashi…
  • Awesome job!! You go girl! I do have a question about the 30 day shred, I'll ask you since you mastered it! Picked it up at a garage sale but none of the paperwork came with it, just the DVD. Am I supposed to do level 1 for 30 days, then level 2 and so on? Or am I supposed to do level 1 until it's easy for me and then move…
  • Get the Xbox with Kinect, and get Dance Central 1, 2, & 3. Lots of song variety there and it is truly lots of fun!
  • I found when I changed my diet I was having those problems too, and I never had them before. Now I just put a tsp. of Benefiber in my milk every morning, it's tasteless, and within a week everything was back to normal. I just make it a daily routine and no more worries.

  • I don't like Chobani at all, the flavors are way too sour for me. Try Fage, their strawberry tastes like strawberry ice cream..soooo good, no kidding. Yoplait greek & Oikos are also good. I made the mistake of trying Chobani first and that ruined me on all greek yogurt until I tried Fage!
  • Yes, that's just not healthy. To compare I lost 30 lbs in 9 months, and that's just by going on MFP as a guide and exercising a couple of times a week. I do cheat days all the time as well, I could have worked a bit harder and lost more but I need to keep my sanity/happiness. I know it's not as much as you lost, but it's…
  • I use Eggies, they boil the egg without the shell, they're awesome! https://www.geteggiestv.com/ I boil 6 eggs every week, they come out just like the ones but without the shell or peeling, I even do liquid egg whites in them sometimes, saves so much time!

  • Pill for me, (Tri-sprintec, generic ortho tricyclen), I've been on it for 10 years. I gained about 50 lbs after starting it, however I also moved in with my now husband at that time, and we ate really unhealthy too. So I'm not sure which one caused it, maybe a little of both, but more than likely the bad food. (Taco Bell,…
  • Actually your doctor may be getting kickbacks from that drug manufacturer to push it on their patients. My husbands doc insisted on the brand name which was way more expensive (though in your case not by much, in ours it was), but my husband said no, get the generic. The FDA requires that all generics perform the same…
  • I think they're both the same thing? I could be wrong but I think Synthroid is the brand name, and Levothyroxine is the scientific name. My husband has been taking it for a couple of years, he never really focused on weight loss until I started in January, and he's lost 30 lbs since then! So it hasn't prevented him from…
  • Thanks for all the tips guys! I guess really what I'm asking is, as I continue to lose weight, will they shrink naturally, along with the excess skin, (if I end up having any since I'm losing weight slowly). Just curious on how much will just be a result of the weight loss itself, or if it will need coaxing with toning…
  • Thanks guys, can anybody recommend a specific exercise to target that area? Thinking of getting the exercise bands...but not sure what movements to do with it. I need a trainer, lol. I have to be careful as I have chondromalacia of the knee so I can't really do any thing that puts pressure on my knees, pushups, squats or…
  • Pootie, Squeakers and Loki :)
  • YES! I just started doing this about a year ago and mad I didn't discover it before, just fresh broccoli florets with some olive oil, Mrs. Dash and a touch of kosher salt, and put in a 400 degree oven for about 12 minutes. Completely changes the flavor and gets the florets all crispy. Love! Also if you have the calories…
  • Same here, I just keep an eye on the sodium for the rest of the day and I'm fine. I find they're perfect within my calorie limitations usually being only 300 cals or so. I'm impressed with the brand lately, a few years ago they barely had any choices and they were pretty bland, lately everything I've had is pretty good! My…
  • I love the show, but highly recommend the comic books too! I sat and read through 1-75 and have been hooked ever since. They've released a majority in trade paperbacks, they're so good, but may spoil the show since they are following pretty closely :) They're nail-biters though! Can't wait for Michonne! (And anxious to see…
  • Real if I'm just eating the bacon itself (in moderation). In something I go for turkey, for example in a BLT, you can't even tell the difference.
  • You know what's great, I installed a free program on my work computer called Big Stretch, you can set it up to give you a popup at timed intervals, just a reminder to get up. It's helped me immensely with neck/back problems, as I sit 8 hrs at work, it just gets the blood flowing. Lots of my coworkers have asked me to…
  • Frozen blueberries, strawberries, diced peaches too. I make my oatmeal at night and warm it in the morning, turns out great!
