How many 5% Challenges have you done? This is my first one! What do you like to do for fun? Hiking, walking, playing with the kids, reading What major city do you live in or near? State? Austin, TX What are you health/fitness goals for this season? Weight loss. I have done a lot to make fitness and healthy eating part of…

I would love to join. I love a competition

It congratulated me the other day for eating a bag of chips because they were "full of healthy fats" but then complains that eggs are "high in cholesterol."

Ooh, sounds like good motivation. I'm in

Great goal! MFP is a great tool. Feel free to friend me -- having a good community here helps a lot.

I'm just going to pretend seder didn't count since my food choices are so restricted through the end of passover -- who cares if I went over when I'm giving up wheat and soda.
-
I'm open and record. Add me if you like (and I am sorry already for how badly I've been eating)
-
I squeeze into the sink or trash first, and then onto my food.

You all look amazing! Plus, it's made me take a look and I am happy to see the results of 30 pounds loss! Can't wait to see the next 30!

I only say you might want to ask your doctor first because if you have any kidney problems, extra magnesium can be an issue for your kidney health, and I don't want to run around telling people they need to take supplements they might not need! I know it's considered safe for most people to take supplements.

I will note that I am not a doctor, but I have been battling an illness I couldn't place for months and though I am not at the bottom of it, dealing with my vitamin deficiencies has been very helpful. I didn't have the exact same symptoms, but I was experiencing extreme fatigue, with depressed feelings and pain in my…

This is me exactly! 25 pounds down, and while I have cut back my soda intake, I haven't cut out anything, and I believe that it's worse to eat low-fat or non-fat processed foods then to just eat butter. Not that I don't eat processed foods too! I would love to be friends. We can talk about losing weight while still eating…

You look amazing. Congratulations on all the hard work. I have had a really struggle recently, and have been wanting to give up, but it's post like yours that help keep me on track. It helps to know it's possible, and to hope to someday help others feel that way too.

I'm really glad we're MFP friends, and it has been awesome having your supportive presence. I completely understand where you're coming from -- MFP has been a tool for me to figure out what in the hell I'm eating that's causing me extreme abdominal pain as much as it has been about weight loss. I hope you're on the verge…

That's my exact height and goal! Feel free to add me.

I use mine everyday. Almost exclusively for breakfast smoothies, like were mentioned already. It's great since the cup you mix things in is the cup you drink out of. I make some variation on this smoothie every day: 1 Frozen banana (peel and cut into 4 before freezing) 2 Cups spinach 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 1 tbsp…

The stupid Kardashians. I honestly don't know what it is, but I will watch any of their shows, and I don't even understand it. Every time all I can think is, "You're a college educated and intelligent woman who leans too feminist sometimes. Why won't you stop watching these vapid girls prance around?" and yet... Also,…

I'd always been pretty active, but chubby. But I started to realize by looking at photos, and my clothing sizes that I was more than chubby. So I started running, completing a half marathon last June and being more active, but I was still unwilling to pay attention to what i was eating. Finally, after losing 15 pounds, and…

188.5 which is a .5 loss from last week. I had surgery this week, which messed up my schedule, exercise, and eating, so I am hoping to get back on track.

Still 28 and snowing in Seattle. Like is had been for two days. Except when we've got freezing rain. Love it!

Last week: 190.5 This week: 188.5 NSV: I posted a picture on facebook my husband took of us playing in the snow which lead to an outlandish number of messages, texts, and comments on how thin I'm looking. Who knew?

My mom did Medifast, and though she was very unhappy while on it--it is VLC and makes you tired and you're hungry all the time--it did help her lose the weight she wanted to lose, and aside from maybe 5-10 pounds, she didn't gain it back. She did continue to try to get small work outs in -- walks or minor body toning--just…

I keep a really good mix of beats because I run long distances. I don't have too hard a time keeping my pace, but I so have a hard time keeping my mind engaged, so I like songs I can lose myself in. 1) Copperline - James Taylor 2) Set Fire to the Rain - Adele 3) She Moves in Her Own Way - The Kooks Also, I second the…
