I agree with everyone and I think two more things that are sexy are: great conversation and seeing a woman in the gym working out(wow)!! I love when my wife and I go to the gym, I just look and say d@m...

Great post brother!! Everybody thanks they have to lift weight to improve body composition and strength. I use the OPT model (NASM Certification) for the people I train which start out with core and stabilization work. Functional exercises can be done anywhere and give a lot of bang for your buck. I am a big advocate for…

If you just started working out, your body is going to be in shock a little. Make sure you stretch and are not working the same body part everyday i.e. work biceps and let them rest for 24-48 before working them out again. Lastly make sure you're getting enough rest (that's when the muscles recover) and your diet has…

This is one of the toughest things to do, you'll really have to look at what your primary goal is. For me it's too decrease body fat %, you do this by losing fat and gaining muscle. That's why it has taken me so long to get my weight down. Sounds like your primary focus is weight loss, so I would devote most of my energy…

That's nothing to make a sad face over, clean the kitchen, bathroom, and you'll have made those calories up. You get credit for those task under the exercise tab. No more sad faces for 80-100 calories please!!

Like with other foods you have to account for those calories and unfortunately alcohol calories are considered empty calories (they don't provide nutritional value). If I do drink when I go out I'll normally have a drink then chase it with a bottle of water to:#1 make sure I don't overdo it especially if I have to drive…

Don't beat yourself up, trust me I busted mine by 1000 calories one time (D@m Pizza Hut)!! You'll be fine just stay on track with your calories and you'll be where you want to in no time.

Stay the course, you probably need to add 300-500 more calories if you’re working out that hard. Remember it's a marathon not a sprint. Remain diligent and you'll see a new you in the future. With exercising period whether cardio or weight training it's an internal transformation first then external. Be encouraged and…

Congrats on the weight loss!!! It's your birthday so enjoy yourself you have a couple of different options: 1. Split a meal and cheesecake with your hubbie like everyone else has said 2. Have a low calorie intake all day split an appetizer and cheesecake with hubbie 3. If you still don't feel comfortable you can burn…

Well my kids are 3 & 1, so my oldest does push-ups and situps with me three times a week. It's the cutiest think to watch and he has good form for a 3 year old. I want fitness to be a regular everyday routine like brushing your teeth or making your bed. That way as they group up it won't feel like work it will be fun.

somethings that help me out are looking at the menu before we get to the restaurant and already know exactly what I'm going to have. Also if I have planned to go out I'll up my cardio for that day to allow for additional calories if I want to have a heavy meal.

You have to be patient because so many factors affect your personal weight loss: age (the older we get our metabolism slows down), gender, genetics, eating habits (try not eating just before bed), water retention, stress, proper rest. The list goes on and on, I tell people not to get so hung up on the scale if your clothes…

Definitely talk to your husband... Also have your emergency snacks in mind. Emergency snacks that help me out are: Krema natural peanut butter 1 Tbsp 100 cal (low sugar & good fat), Pop secret 100 cal snack bag, Planters Cashews 160 cal (good fat source), Natural apple sauce, a banana, banana chips and apple chips (I don't…

I take my hat off to you because I'm sure it can be tough until you get your routine down. Only think I can say is just to make sure you're taking a multivitamin and balance your diet so not to have any nutritional deficiencies.

@ Frozenmango when you perfect that recipe please let me know. I love cookies!! @ Jpondy thanks for the info, I never new that about the damage caused. Type II diabetes runs in my family if you have high BP/Chol and are obese it's only a matter of time in my family. @glasielady I'm going to try a spin class this year!…

This was very good advice(Clivebutrol). Just because you take a day off doesn't mean that you have to lay dormant, take that day to relax, stretch, and refocus\inventory your short and long term goals. Keep in mind over-training can hurt your immune system and body. Hope this helps

The hard work paid off, great job!!
