They're fed chicken a lot. My brother was in prison, he bulked up pretty quick because most dinners consisted of chicken breasts and vegetables. They're actually fed pretty well depending on what sort of facility they go to. And there's not much to do if you're not on some kind of work detail besides work out and read.
