My sugar-free jello at the end of the day. It's my reward for eating well and working out hard. It's only 10 calories and 0 carbs, plus 1 gram of protein. I smile so big when I have it, it's silly. My kids say that it's cute. They're good kids, very encouraging.

Enigmatic smile.

Unless I get other evidence, will assume friendly.

1) Using it for music or keeping track of your workout is recommended. 2) Answering a call from your minor kids is a requirement, though if it will be a long convo, go to a non-workout area. 3) Even an emergency work call, though see (2. 4) Anything else, in a perfectly just world should be a capital offense.

No. We're both married.

You start counting the prime numbers between 1 and 1000.

@ilfaith. Not till just now.

@Rayleen. No. HYE hung your legs off the side of a mountain? (I have. Gazing into a 2000-foot drop for nearly an hour cured my fear of heights).

I quite agree. I'm kind of a Protestant Thomist.

@runnergirl If I tried to get away, she'd probably catch me. My workout routine, for now, is more free weights than cardio.

Weights: Mars (bring of War) by Holst or Heroes by David Bowie Especially the lyrics that read that we can beat them, just for one day. It condenses everything down to the here and now. Don't worry about a month from now. Don;t worry about a day from now. It becomes one exercise, one set, then just one rep. Finish this…

Not only am I 46 and play D&D, my two teenagers are now playing in the campaign I created in college 28 years ago. On the other hand, I can pass as mundane, so I guess I'm just a changeling Nerd.

I won;t try it. I love fried chicken (and enjoy Popeye's), but KFC doesn't have enough flavor and is too greasy (and I'm on a low-carb diet mind you). I think they cut costs by using too much breading. I'll pass. But for those would enjoy this type of thing, enjoy your type of thing.

Major agreement on getting the right shoes. One note though, make sure you dedicate them to running. Your foot falls differently in the shoe when you run than when you walk. The difference in the bottom cushion aggravates shin splints. I had major shin problems when I was on freshmen Crew in college till I figured this out.

It is brilliant. It was originally from Dave Barry's Guide to Guys.
