Smoothie 1.5 cup spinach 1tsp maca root powder 1/3 cucumber 1/2 lemon 1 peach (frozen works) or 1 banana 5 or 6 frozen strawberries 1 scoop body fortress chocolate peanut butter protein powder (or any kind you like) 1tsp maca root powder 1 cup almond milk (you can use more or less to desired consistency)

Plain greek yogurt, with 1/4 cup of Natures Path pumkin flax granola, 6 strawberries and 1/4 cup mango pieces. (I use frozen fruit and put it all together the night before so the fruit will be thawed by the time I eat it in the morning)

No worries, a year from now you'll look back and be amazed out how far you've come! Keep your goals small and remember your fitness is your responsibilty and it doesnt happen by accident. You will have to work hard but it will be worth it! Good luck and welcome to the club!

Nothing for black bean but sometimes I use the box stuff and sub in flax seed and apple sauce in place of eggs and oil.

Oh and I read somewhere that when your body isnt busy digesting food it can focus on other things like healing. May or may not be true but it works for me. So when I get hunger pains I think that's okay my body is doing other great things at the moment.

Chef Chloe has a book coming out next week, I've tried several recipes from her website and they have all turned out great. Also the book Forks over Knives ...the last half of the book are all easy vegan recipes. I made the "raise the roof lasagna" over the weekend ..it's already gone!

raw veggies, maybe some hummus to dip it in cereal is one of my late night go to's pretzels ..not really that great nutritionally but you can eat a bunch for less than 200 calories, also good with hummus popcorn, make your own. All you need is popcorn kernels and a paper bag. season with garlic salt or whatever you like…

I quit a long time ago but I remember always having gum and twizzlers around. Also when I went out for drinks, I carried a pack of clove cigarettes since they barely contain any nicotene...I couldn't get to sucked in. When the craving gets really bad do some jumping jacks or something to take the edge off...just keep going…

I like caulliflower, tomatoes, onion and garlic in a curry tomato sauce over a little bit of brown rice. I always go light on the rice and fill up on the veggies.

This blog reminded me about the cookies in the microwave...yes tough. Of course I just ate 1 ....but I keep it in moderation and tomorrow is a 2 hour gym day.

Don't keep it in the house and I live by the rule ...if you can get it from a vending machine don't eat it.
