  • Unless your belly is TOTALLY flat, women should avoid dresses that are form fitting across the abdomen, they really make your belly look fat! You have to stop worrying about fashion and wear what looks good on your body type!

  • I am 53 and have been using MFP for 3 months----I have lost 40 lbs!! MFP has been a great way to track food and exercise; both essential to losing weight, I think. A big motivator for me has been a weight loss challenge at work that I just won! Now I just need to keep working at it, I'd like to lose 80-90 lbs total.
  • I've lost 37 lbs since Nov 2, I would love to lose 100 lbs total, but I'm afraid to fail, so I just tell myself I want to lose another 10 lbs, just have 10 lb increments as goals. I'm almost at my 4th 10 lb goal!
  • Yes, just bought the book "Eat This Not That" supermarket version.....gives you alot of good ideas of what to buy at the grocery. Try to keep away from alot of processed foods....and make sure your MFP is set to track calories, carbs, sugar, sodium, and fat...this helps you see EXACTLY what you are consuming!
  • Make sure you buy the 1% low fat or fat-free....I love grape tomatoes in mine!! Fresh pineapple chunks are good, too! The good thing about cottage cheese: you can go sweet OR savory!
