20 lbs in 2 months... Gaining 2.5 lbs a week is extreme and scary. Refocus on why you want to practice beneficial eating habits. And use that focus to get back into those habits...

The only way I ever stick with micro/macro (e.g. carbs) daily goals, is by pre-planning at least 2/3 of the goal (which is breakfast/lunch for me). MFPers can get a bit cultish with their weight loss ideals. But, there's nothing wrong with different eating styles. :)

I am 5'4" and I will stop actively trying to lose at 130 'cause I was happy around that weight in the past. I put the "fitness model" look into bodybuilder.com and it gave me a goal of 115; which is so not happening...

Even with a "food scale", I don't see you losing weight while eating 1910 plus exercise calories at 5'4". I am also 5'4", and no calculators have given such a high number for maintaining (much less losing) weight...

I just have a Fitbit Flex. Fitbit has a large and active population. Meaning there is no shortage of "friends" with which to do challenges and to interact.

I have read the same "drug" bashing that you described. Posts even go so far as to say "find a new doctor" or "doctors know nothing about weight loss". I personally use the caffiene in coffee/soda, or stay "busy", to help avoid needless eating. But, nice post. :)

Yeah... It's one of many weight loss tools. If I start having issues losing weight (with the tools I already employ), I may consider it.

I just do whatever has the closest name to what I had. If you're still losing weight, you're fine. If you're not, adjust.

The only way I ever hit macros is to sit down and plan what I will eat in advance (at least 2/3 of the grams)
