hey all..hope everyone is doing well. If you are healthy and injury free then no excuses to skip workout! I am nursing a partial torn rotator cuff and a meniscus tear in my knee so I haven't worked out in 6 weeks or so. I feel like a caged animal not being able to go in and excercise! I'll be turning the big 50 in a week!!

6.5K cals on a cheat day would be big day for me. That included a deep dish pizza and a few ice cream drumsticks, double cheeseburger, along with the rest of the days cheat foods. It's in my logs somewhere. But I don't cheat so much these days anymore because I don't have the cravings.

I actually had bad triglycerides when I was at 16%. I reduced my carbs and halved my triglycerides. I didn't do this to look good I did it to make my blood work better since I am going to be 50 in a few months which for some reason people can't seem to believe. 10% is okay for an athlete. LOL. Maybe the government needs to experiment on my alien body. My pic was taken two weeks ago. I will be 50 in November. The MFP forums have got to be the most thick headed cultish people on earth. Criticize all you want but it won't change the fact that I"m 10% body fat eating without a deficit. I feel sorry for you.

Everyone argues that the article sucks yet I eat 4000+ calories a day, do no cardio, lift some weights and my bf is 10% and I'm going to be 50 in a few months. I don't watch my calories. It's pretty simple what she said. skinny and not fit is not sexy. I completely agree. I've been thin and I've been in shape. I prefer to be in shape. Nothing to argue about.

nothing wrong with fat. I eat a ton of fat and I'm 10% bf. I eat 25% carbs so the rest is fat and protein. I frequently hit 50% fat and I get leaner. Just as long as you get fats from good sources as well. I eat a lot of nuts and it throws my fat macros up.
