Well done!!

You ask why you don't see anyone doing deads? It's because it's a real exercise that requires 110% effort. :) If only I didn't have a ruptured disk, it would be a staple in my routine. Only partials for me.

OP. I appreciated the thread. It's always good to see fresh perspectives.

Nothing wrong with bread. Just don' eat it with pasta, potatoes, rice. Moderation is the key. I am the same age as you.

I weigh in the morning(lightest) and before bed(heaviest) to get my variance. I weight daily because you can see trends much faster.

was always deceiving me.

I use a fitbit one. I keep it on my waist. I like how I get a quantitative number on how active I am through the day.

well done sir.

Surprisingly I feel very good right now. I'm not skipping workouts. I look forward to workouts. I've been much stronger in the past about 12 months ago when I was 15 pounds heavier. I wasn't watching carbs then. I then took 6 months off, lost 10 pounds and started back up working out at 205. So I lost muscle and wasn't…

Umm...yes!

i do 40/40/20 with 20% as carbs. I might up it to 25% since my activity has been a little higher than normal. I have 176 lean body mass at 200 pounds. Just had a bf comp test done yesterday.
-
Dude..you are a warrior! Amazing transformation and congrats on reclaiming control of your body comp.

I can only wish my legs got that sore after a squats. My legs would be a lot further. Are you doing *kitten* to grass? Squats have other benefits such as testosterone boost, core and lung development. If you are so sore after your squats maybe you need to take break or lighten up your loads for a bit.

I need 3200 cals just to maintain. So if you are active and trying to bulk..I'd go for 3000+ calories. When I bulk, which I won't do anymore because I have no desire to be 230 pounds I'm eating 5000 calories+. Currently I'm 200 and eating around 3200 per day.

FAGE plain greek yogurt is what I like. You can get it in nonfat, and 2% and whole. It's great to have choice and I mix one scoop of my protein in it to get a 50g serving of protein. I don't avoid fat in my diet.

absolutely

time to look at your macros and fine tune. Edited to add: I don't see the diary.
-
I weigh morning and night. Much easier to see trends this way versus 1x a week. It use the Aria fitbit scale so it sends it to the website and graphs it without need to use a spreadsheet.

I don't think 32 ounces of coffee daily will put weight on. I think it would act as a diuretic actually in that volume for me.
-
Don't worry about the scale. You look fantastic.

This is a generalized statement. Cheat days are not bad as long as you do not cheat to often otherwise, your not on your diet. Cheat days can replenish needed stores. It really is an average of your intake, not a day to day so cheating is fine if you are well within your range. Now I don't agree with quadrupling your carb…

OP needs to read this. http://eatlocalgrown.com/article/13256-mainstream-nutrition-myths-proved-wrong.html Stay away from low fat. You are just keeping the needed calories from your system.

Hey don't knock it until you have a little Kale puree on your oreo sundae! ;) btw. I don't eat kale unless I am juicing it.
