And on top of that the government is forcing schools to now force certain foods onto kids. All they do is take it and throw it away in the trash if they dont like it. But the schools have the extra cost of all this new required food that is mandatory. Big government is great isn't it?

I would recommend trying IF (intermittent fasting). I have only been doing it about 2 weeks and it helps alot with appetite control. Basically what I do is skip breakfast and then eat lunch around noon and dinner and then dont eat again until lunch the next day. In between lunch and dinner I have other meals if I need…

true I dont even know why I waste my time responding to these posts. most people just ignore any help and do what they want to do.

Where are you getting this? The exercise calories are added to the daily goal not what she actually ate. So if she at 800 calories and burned 600 she has a net of 200 calories. I see you just signed up so maybe you are reading it wrong idk. But what she is doing is far from healthy. ps-damn someone beat me to it lol

just checking your diary for the last 4-5 days you are eating less then 1k on most days and on top of that burning 500 to 700 calories a day. So say you eat 900 and burn 700 you are at a net of 200calories per day, this is starvation mode plain and simple. Eat more if you are going to burn so many calories per day. Its as…

I'll ask this again, since people didnt see it. "I am wandering are you able to leave it on all day to try and get your daily calorie burn kinda like your tdee?" I know the fitbit purports to be able to show whole day calories but am not sure I like it's other features so wana go with polar.

I have been wanting to get the ft7 also, but am wandering are you able to leave it on all day to try and get your daily calorie burn kinda like your tdee? I know the fitbit purports to be able to show whole day calories but am not sure I like it's other features so wana go with polar.

Your diary is locked, how do you suppose people can help you? Just guess?

I didn't read the wall of text in this thread so not sure if this was covered or not. Those 2lbs you lost is pure water, plain and simple. When you cut out carbs you lose water weight almost immediately. Even if you stopped eating for 2days you would not lose 2lbs of fat at your size. (unless you sat on the treadmill all…

took me about 2weeks before it started dropping. it seems to me like your body has to get into weight loss mode.

Natural sugars found in fruit you should not worry about, its the refined sugar found in everything else that you worry about. Also fruit juices usually contain a ton of added sugar so they are not as healthy as just eating the fruit.
-
Nothing wrong with that, thats what you should be doing, eating less carbs and more protein. It helps build muscle which helps burn more fat. I love carbs so its so hard for me to do it.

I didnt read all the replies so I have no idea if this was covered or not. If you stay on a calorie deficit diet YOUR BODY WILL ADJUST ITS METABOLIC RATE AND YOU WILL STOP LOSING. You can lose until this happens, but beleive me it will happen. Your body hates to lose weight and it will do everything it can to stop you from…

Well I just checked your diary, and some days you only eat 2 times in the whole day, others 3. I eat 5 to 6 times per day. I would starv to death if I only at 2 or 3 meals. If you only eat 2 or 3 times it slows down your metabolism. If you are able, you should split up your calories into at least 5 meals per day. It also…

If you continue on a calorie deficit diet without breaking it up your body will adjust and you will plateau. Every person I have ever talked to or read about losing alot of weight hits plateaus. I just started a diet that counteracts this by spiking your calories for one day per week. Sounds crazy but it keeps your body…

It may be your body is adjusting(it loves to do this), hence no more weight loss. Or it could be you have lost fat and added muscle which makes the scale look like your not losing.

So basically your saying to drink only when your thirsty. I think the quote i got here contradicts that. Maybe i'm wrong who knows. "While each person's water needs are different, if you are urinating clear to yellow-tinged urine and rarely feel thirsty, you are drinking enough water, according to MayoClinic.com." P.s.-the…

Lol no, I think I read the normal healthy human body can handle like 10 gallons of water per day or more, I cant remember the exact number. So no 64fl oz is not alot. As far as me I drink water all thoughout the day so 1 gallon is not to bad, ya if i tried to down it in one hour Id be hurting. Even at that amount of water…

I drink 16 cups of water per day at least (1gallon) and thats in the winter. So yes even if your sedentary you should at least drink 64 imo.

I do know putting on more muscle will burn more fat. So if you wish to add muscle you may want to do as others have said and up your protein

Has anyone tried or heard anything about the monitor sold on this site? The Fitbit Ultra Wireless Activity Tracker? It says it evens works while you sleep. I would really like to know from people that have used it or have one. thanks

I am new to this but I would suggest you look into the spike diet. Heres a link http://spikediet.blogspot.com Basically from what ive read and learned from people is your body will get used to any normal calorie deficit diet and will adjust so that you will plateau and or make it very hard to lose weight. Your body is very…

One thing that is simple and increases your metabolism is eating smaller portions more often. Say if you are set at 2000 calories a day to lose try spacing it out in 5 or 6 meals a day. I'm doing this and I'm hungry about every 2 hours. I don't even really feel like I'm on a diet, I can eat anything I want within reason…

Hello, I was interested in this plan and have been reading about it. Do I have to buy the book to do it? I understand eating bmr for 6 days and 2x bmr on spike day. Would I need to also eat workout calories on top of that? I'm currently hitting the treadmill about 5 days a week and burning between 500-600 calories. Been…

Well it could also be that at the Dr office you weighed with clothes on I'm assuming and home your not? I know my Dr office I even weigh in with shoes on. Other than that just what others said, different scales=different results.
