My early comment was wrong about the oxygen consumption. It's just an overpriced accelerometer that uses an oxygen consumption algorithm- doesn't *measure* anything related to oxygen

After 2 hours and a "duh" moment I figured it out. All I have to do is log an exercise routine that's the difference between what my device says and my normal daily activity according to MFP- which I'll just make as low as possible to make sure I cross that threshold: Added Routine = (Device reading - 2180) Tada!

Couldn't I just add "x" amount of calories to my daily calorie goal? X being the number of calories MFP calculates as my daily background burn? Edit: Nevermind that doesn't work

The moto thing looks way overpriced, not to mention you need the as-of-right-now unavailable headphones for it to be a HRM? I'm trading my fitbit ultra in for the UP this weekend. Right now the food tracking portion of the UP is just a photo journal- you can report how the food makes you feel, but you can't count calories…
