I can't drive me crazy with formulas and I believe in "make it as easier as possible", anyway - modern treadmills in gym let you set details before your training according to your weight - otherwise use a HRM - NO HRM, NO MODERN TREADMILL (LIKE ME..)? I rely on this website, it calculates according to weight!…

I think I have "to work" on this 10-20% rule as well. I eat "perfectly" 5-6 days/week but I can binge on 2500-3500 kcal on a single week end day. The worst part: I do not enjoy these cheat-foods because I do not CHOOSE to eat them, I eat them following the urge, then I feel guilty,no joy, no "responsibility". I never crave…

first, you're 100% aware, THAT'S GOOD! You mentioned the obsession on calories in/calories burned and I KNOW for personal experience that this is the exact way to trigger self sabotage. Can we judge ourselves? :) It's pretty normal. I am a "graduate dieter" since I mastered the art of losing the same 15 lbs (I am 5' 3'',…

* I eat oranges not peeling it with my fingers, but using a knife so I can spare almost all the white of the fruit and eat it. I actually eat the same orange in slices I cut perpendicular to orange wedges, EVENTUALLY LOOKING LIKE ORANGE DOUGHNUT... * when I am particularly tired I sleep ON the blankets *When I set to run X…

very, very good point chris! particularly when you mention restrictions/ amount of time (limited). A smart flexibility within life long habits, but people still stick to the black and white definition of diet, just a word that doesn't say nothing about our lifestyle, our behaviors, our choices to re-make every single day…

thanks, very good point!

Basically, the Know When Say No (and enjoy the benefits) should remain. That's a good point. In the past, I was interested only on the "slip into a size 8" part, of course this does not support long term results. Recently, trying paleo/primal approach, I know that I will no longer (as a habit) eat large amount of white…

yep, I can completely relate :D Particularly the part of routine, since it is hard to expect that self control/deprivation/and exercise discipline will be a routine (same amount/same motivation) a whole life! This actually suggested me how important is to get rid of the BLACK AND WHITE mindset that has always been the…

Uncommonly but I love sweating, drenched shirts give me a feeling of accomplishment :) I hate when someone is around and I am on the treadmill as well, but only if he/she is someone I know, pretty weird. The no. 1 thing I hate about working out outdoor: have to take the car to reach a decent running area + bump into slow…
