Oh my goodness, I need this. But yes I agree, I felt a bit self conscious going to the gym at first, I have yet to brave going into the free weights section but I feel great about going, and there are people of all ages and sizes, and I've never had anything negative said to me or heard it towards anyone else, I've…

You... I like you. This was a nice post to see first thing in the morning, that last one especially, umph.

*drool* how could anyone forget John Barrowman Is it just me or doesn't he look like a better-looking, more charismatic Tom Cruise...?

In for Gerard Butler and David Tennant.

Agreed with everyone just have pizza, I make room for it at least once a week because I love it.

Glad I'm not the only one who read the title this way...

Amazing work! Congratulations!

Congrats on your loss! I have a long way to go so I'm setting milestones and rewards, small stuff mostly, but when I reach my goal I've got some ideas... New wardrobe over time, some tattoos I'm waiting to get, I'll still take my time with those things though, work on maintenance for a bit first and see if I want to lose…

I think you'll be fine, look at all the people who do intermittent fasting, they seem to be losing fine. They tend to look at it as calories per week I think not entirely sure. I don't know if I could do IF but do what works for you. I do the same, if I have a bad day, I'll try the next to keep at of under calories and get…

I "apparently" gained 6 lbs or so over the weekend but not in fat (obviously that would be ridiculous) due to high sodium meals, I cut down on sodium yesterday and drank lots and have been going to the bathroom quite a bit yesterday and today from all the water weight lol, today I'm down below what my weigh in was last…

Top favourite is a simple orange pekoe or English breakfast tea, for more specialty types, I love chai, this one I got from David's tea called creme caramel rooibos, it's to die for, and anything fruity I can make iced tea out of. I love tea, mmm.

Chocolate peanut butter cups! Or even better, chocolate peanut butter ice cream *drool* maybe tomorrow I can fit it in.

Hmm and just to add for fellow Canadians, the quest bar website has a store location option, I looked up my city and it listed 5 locations at the stores Popeye's supplements, spartan nutrition and nutrition house.

Glad to hear they're in Canada, I want to try them, I looked and there's a GNC store pretty close to me so I'll have to try them out if they're carrying some! Anything that's healthier for my sweet tooth is great, plus I find I'm not usually getting enough protein in most days.

Mmm sounds delicious!

I followed you, I follow dailyfood_diary as well who always posts super healthy meals :)

So cool, love this! She looks so much more confident and like an entirely different person, what a transformation!

I normally do once a week, occasionaly twice, right now I'm doing twice as my weekly recorded weigh in is Tuesday, but I joined a challenge group where their weigh in day is Friday, so I'm doing that currently, but I think I prefer once a week even though the wait makes me a bit antsy, it's usually worth it because I'll…

I have instant oatmeal almost daily, I prefer stovetop oatmeal but for time I usually do instant, one suggestion is if you eat more than one packet ( I have 2) consider using either plain oatmeal and adding your own extras, or do one packet that's already flavoured and one plain packet mixed, still get a bit of flavour and…

You look great, awesome hard work, very inspirational!

You look great! Hmm good idea maybe I should try this too!

Going to school for social work, I've got a college diploma in social service work but am now in university for social work (different levels in Canada). Planning to get my bachelors and masters most likely.

Feel free to add me, I try to keep active on here and this time around I'm having some success. I try to be positive and supportive, and trust me you can do this! I've been overweight since childhood, too, and up until January would binge eat daily. I keep my food diary open as well if you want to have a look. It's proof…

In the past a few years ago when idid this I believe I was ENFP, now I'm INFJ. Not surprised it's changed a bit. I was before only slightly extroverted, now I'm a bit more introverted.

Awesome start, I'm trying to lose 116, 18 down so 98 to go, then will re-evaluate whether I want to lose more! I'm aiming for 160 but will see if I'd like to go to 140-150. (I'm 5'7). Good luck on your journey, feel free to add me!

Haha, didn't know all of them but know a couple. You had me at po-ta-to.

I was at 1800 but MFP put me down to 1750 as I've out a decent amount of weight, but I definitely eat that much practically every day, and generally eat back half my workout calories, more if I'm still hungry haha.

Well first of all that's very exciting you're getting married! I really don't know much about the Cambridge weight plan so I'll look it up after, but I just want to point out as some others likely will too, that is 70lb (5 stone) loss achievable by august? Probably. Is it a good idea? Mfp recommends a loss of no more than…

This has happened to me too a few times, it's awesome. If I go back home and visit family I'm usually surrounded by a lot more high calorie food than normal, I try to keep in or around my calorie goals but am usually over a bit, then come home and weigh in and have actually lost a bit more than normal, it's a nice bonus ;)

I think people just like it because a lot of people would rather be a bit under than over, plus for me if I'm 50-100 calories under I figure it helps make up for any possible miscalculations. That said, I'm rarely under by much. I see no problem if someone likes that I'm 10 calories under, just as I don't mind if people…
