1) brown rice 2) canned and dried beans 3) steamfresh vegetables (my favorite is the bag of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots) 4) greek yogurt 5) popcorn (I get the 94% fat free kind, and also the kernels because I have an airpopper)

That was my first thought, too. My second thought: "like, why not eat pistachios at midnight when the moon is full?" --I'm so trying this.

I too thought that this was about Dominos Pizza and was excited to try their new light options, LOL

LOL, is this from the ad that has a picture of a banana and "5 foods you should NEVER eat"? I hate that ad. Eat the fruit.

Multi-grain cheerios are LOADED with iron! Just a tip, in case you have the calories for a bowl of cereal, it's an easy and tasty way to get some more iron in. And of course green leafy veggies...

I've discovered that you canNOT follow both plans at the same time. Right now I'm following WW, and only tracking sometimes on MFP. On the days that I use a lot of weeklies and activity points, I will go WAY over my MFP calories. That's what's different about the two plans. WW has those "extra" points (calories) and MFP…

Laura, 2.5 in 3 weeks is a great rate of loss! Great job, keep up the good work. :-)

Yep, everything in moderation.... but some of us have issues with eating the junk in moderation, so we have to keep it out of the house!

I'm 5'6'', 27 years old, and on Weight Watchers.... I eat anywhere from 1400-3000 calories per day, depending on how many Points I ate. This probably doesn't help you...

I'm clingy. My boyfriend of 4.5 years is clingy. And we are about to enter couples counseling... I don't know if the clinginess has anything to do with it, but we shall see...

I am most definitely a car singer.

week of 7/8/12 - down 1 pound! Starting WW weight 190.4 week 1: 189.2 week 2: 188.2

Awesome attitude, Ana!

Some days I track both places, but usually am only tracking on WW right now. I hate how WW penalizes some of my "healthier" carb-y foods like oatmeal squares cereal. MFP says that my meal was only 300 calories, but WW has it at 14 points, LOL! It is definately a different way of tracking.

YES! I can relate to this. I am a feminist, and believe that women (and men) should NOT be judged based on their appearances, especially should not be judged based on their body size. And yet, I vaule MYSELF less because of my larger size. How terrible and messed up is that?

Thanks for reminding me that I can strength train at home without a bunch of expensive stuff! Push ups, lunges, squats...

I'm a US14-16 (depending on brand) right now, and hoping to get down to a US10-12. This is almost entirely because way too many people are size 14-16 and I can never find clothes anywhere! But I always see some 10s and 12s in the things I want to buy. I just want to be able to buy cute clothes.

My goal weight is a range (135-145) because I'm not sure exactly how I'll look and feel at 145, but I know it's a healthy weight. I did use BMI, which many people don't agree with (I'm actually one of them, but I have to use SOMETHING to help determine what's healthy!). BMI says that 119-154 is healthy for me. I have a…

I have not read ANY of the responses, but I think that for ME, this is true. I am just plain addicted to certain foods (chips, cookies, soft bread, to name a few) and cheat days turn into cheat weeks for me. I'm in the middle of a junk food cycle again, right now, because I tried "everything in moderation" AGAIN... For…

Name: Leah Age: 27 1) My left foot is a size bigger than my right foot, so I have to compromise with shoe sizes 2) I really want to wear fashionable clothes, but for some reason spend most of my days in jeans and hoodies 3) I like a little coffee with my (soy) milk, and some fries with my ketchup 4) My face is shaped like…

I'm in the "fruit is ALWAYS good for you" group. (Unless told otherwise by your doctor, of course.)

I have no suggestions, but I just want to say that I don't think "ew" when I look at that picture. You look great! I've had to learn to embrace my "stripes" because I will never be rid of them. My cellulite and stretch marks are just part of my skin, and the only folks who see it either love it (boyfriend) or don't care…

Yep. Just a few days ago, I told someone that I'm vegan and I got a "Really? I have a friend who's vegan, and she's like super skinny." Just another stereotype!
-
100% agree. It's ridiculously healthy and just happens to also be low calorie (if followed to a T). The most important thing is WHAT you eat, not necessarily HOW MUCH. At least that's how it's working out for me!

My boyfriend is divorced with two kids. We've been together for more than 4 years. I am so glad that I didn't let his past stop me from dating him, because he's amazing!

Whoops, forgot how to post pictures. :-(

I've been a yo-yo for a decade now, and I have the pancake boobs to prove it.

It has to be a priority and a habit, like anything else that MUST get done. Hopefully at some point, it will become your "me" time and you'll look forward to it most days! Last year I worked full time, went to school full time, and worked out 6 days a week. So it can be done. Good luck to you!

I haven't read ANY of the replies, so I apologize if I am repeating something that's been said. I started my obsessive dieting at around age 11, when I had put on some weight. If I had just waited a bit, I would have realized that a growth spurt was just around the corner and I was going to quickly gain about 5 inches of…

I'm such a Buffy fan that a) Buffy is part of my MFP name and b) I searched for "buffy" and found this thread.
