  • Amazon does do MP3 downloads AND the Amazon downloader will drop the music into iTunes for you. I will use both iTunes and Amazon for my iPod. Sometimes Amazon is cheaper than iTunes, but if they are the same then I go with iTunes because when you do an iTunes back up, it doesn't include the Amazon MP3s.
  • If you have it set as sedentary, then the calories you burn just sitting there are already figured into your daily amount. You should not add them back in as exercise. Even if you have it set as semi-active, what you do during the day is already calculated.
  • Great idea.....I always try to get the lower sodium packets BUT always have the sodium side effects that I get anyways.....How much do you put of each? Is it equal parts?
  • I don't think one day is enough to do damage.....heck some people get the flu for longer and are fine. However, 200 net calories is VERY low and I would do my best not to go that low again. Next time you end up that way......find some way to eat a small amount (since you don't "feel" like eating) to get in a lot a…
  • My waist is a little higher.....mine is about halfway between the bra line (band) and the belly button.
  • If you had told me when I was young that I would eat venison I would have given you a very loud 'EWWWW" But now that my hubby has gotten a couple of deer, a small buck this year and a 10 pointer two years ago, we have had a steady stream of it in our freezer for the last two years. If you know anything about weight…
  • If this is a every-now-and-again type of thing that doesn't happen very often, I think you'll be fine. I believe it takes several days of you being under to do any "damage". Also, do you have your weight loss set at? If you have it set at 2 lbs per week you would have to watch it much more than if you had it set at a half…
  • This is interesting....I'm already taking Biotin for my nails (they are a hard brittle and snap easy, plus they are bending under). I'm fighting hair loss, not because of weight loss, but because of the disorder that I have. I might have to look into adding the foods specifically to my diet to aid the supplement that I'm…
  • If you are low on potassium and are worried about sugars, google potassium foods. There are other foods that contain potassium other than bananas. However, it is my opinion that the sugars in fruit will NOT hurt you. They are natural sugars (not processed) and thus your body will digest them better/easier. My sister is…
  • I had them but I ended up selling them on ebay a while back in order to get my Turbo Fire workouts. I did like the fact that they were short in duration, that they worked multiple muscles at the same time, and when I did get in there and push play I did see some results. However, the downside, for me, was the fact that it…
  • We do have a Wii......the question then would be could I get my two boys off of it long enough for me to do it......  I may have to look into that though....
  • 5'8" 198 (gained some due to medical/health issues....hope to lose soon and stop gaining) Size 14-16 long/tall pants depending on fit and L/XL tops, again, depending on fit. I can wear smaller tops if they are 'tall' or 'long'. Evan though I'm only 5'8" I still need the tall/long in pants because my thighs are larger and…
  • Free weights use more of the stabilizing muscles in addition to the larger muscles. The machines take out the need to stabilize and don't work as many muscles at a time as free weights do. Wouldn't you want more "bang for your buck"???? I have done both in the past and seemed to get better results using the free weights.…
  • I just googled them and they do seem to be regional to NY and NJ BUT on the "where to find us" tab it says that you can send them an email with your zip code and they will tell you store locations. IF they don't have a store near you they can take an order via fax and ship directly to you. That sounds so cool. I may have…
  • I've seen them at my Kroger and I think I've seen them at Wal-Mart too.....they are with the other poptarts but they only have 2 or 3 flavors so they may be easy to overlook.
  • I've tried the Fiber One poptarts and they aren't that great. I'm trying to maybe cut down to one poptart (not two) and maybe a small shake to (as my mom would say) "fill in the cracks". Not sure exactly what I'm going to do yet but pretty much everyone's suggestions have been helpful....thanks again!
  • Yeah I know.....I looked at that. How would you know if it's in something? Do they actually list it on the packaging?
  • Yeah, me too.....that's why I'm not doing it!
  • You would only be dampening the sensors, not the whole strap, so I wouldn't think you would feel it that much. And it only takes a little bit. I've used my F6 strap both dry and dampened and haven't ever seen a difference in how it works. I DO tighten it as far as I possibly can so that it's very snug but that's just a…
  • That's exactly what I'm aiming for....drink a shake while taking my oldest to school (he has to be there between 7:30 and 7:45) and then eat a light snack mid morning, then a later lunch so that my 7/8 PM dinner doesn't seem so far away. I tend to overeat at dinner because I'm starved by the time we get it done due to my…
  • WOW.....not a single repeat.....looks like I've got a lot of research to do... I do like the idea of the ones that help with hair and nails as I've recently been put on a medication that affects those.... Thanks all for the suggestions.....I'll gladly take more if anyone has others.
  • I used to do The Firm workouts and they did lunges on the "box". You could use a bench or stool but theirs are in two parts that are 5" and 8" I believe and they stack to make a 14" box they called the "fanny lifter". You would start by standing on top, lunge backwards and put one foot on the floor, then push back to the…
  • Sounds like 20-30 is the consensus......that would work......may have to try it...... Thanks everyone!!!

  • My dermatologist said that the recommended therapeutic amount of biotin is 2500 - 5000 mcg. I have a bottle from Nature Made, I believe (it's the green bottle ones you see at Kroger and Wal Mart) and they are 5000 mcg and I take one a day. Biotin is water soluble and any extra should be flushed away. (I googled to make…
  • I'm soooooo hoping they come to KY! I didn't go to Indy, Cincy, or Nashville when they were there last (those are the three closest places and Indy/Cincy are about 2 hrs away and Nashville is about 4 or so). My sister was more the NSYNC and BSB and I was NKOTB and BSB.
  • If you went from a 42DDD to a 38DDD they actually DID go down some. Just because the cup letter stayed the same doesn't mean the cup is the same size. A 38DDD is the same in cup size as a 40DD and a 36E, they are just different band sizes. I get my bras from bravissimo.com as I am 32 years old and don't want to wear a…
  • Shock Absorber, Shock Absorber, Shock Absorber.......that's all I can wear. I'm a 30 G and get mine from Bravissimo in the UK. Yes, I have to pay a higher price on top of higher shipping and customs BUT the TaTas don't move. Here's a couple of links..... My fave at Bravissimo…
  • If it IS a low blood sugar issue....you would want something with at least 15 g of carbs and some protein (some cheese & crackers would do). My sister is Type 1 diabetic and that's the advice she gave me for my hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). But if you are working out a lot you would need more carbs & protein so your body…
  • That sounds interesting.......I may have to try that. Thanks for posting!
