I like to weight myself every day. But I am not easily discouraged so it works for me.

I was also given around 2400 calories but I have went back and manually set mine to 2000 calories. Since doing this I lose pretty consistently about 2 lbs a week. It gives me room for error because I am not the type who is going to weigh and measure everything i eat.

During the work week I just eat these little bags of mixed nuts, yogurt, and oatmeal from Emerald. I think they are Emeralds Breakfast to go. I usually buy the Berries and Cream ones and the Maple Oatmeal Clusters. On the weekends I usually make Eggs or have Cereal.

i agree great post. I have over 150lbs to lose also. about 6 months ago I hit my highest which was 415lbs. I am down to 374 and I really haven't started exercising much outside of a recumbent bike a couple times a week. Sent a friend request.

I agree I think it's something you should ask your doctor about. I hate taking metformin but it significantly lowers my insulin levels.

I agree it's a great tool. Really has helped me. I am not diabetic but I am borderline. Dr has put me on metformin and I hate it. I'm hoping to be able to stop taking it.

I used a ecigg to quit smoking. If you buy a quality one you won't go back to ciggs. After I was just using the ecigg all of the time I found it pretty easy to ween myself off of it.
