I usually gain 3lbs during when I have my period, this is just fluid retention and goes away as soon as the period ends. It can be frustrating seeing it on the scale but you just have to remember that what you see on the scale during this time is not an actual reflection of your weightloss.

Reflux is horrible, I have it often but it has improved since I lost some weight. I find that if I cut out all caffeine and nicotine and have a yogurt that helps alot. Yogurt or milk neutralises the stomach acid.
