Don't get the Polar RS100, unless you want to track running. I got that for my kickboxing and weight training work outs and it beeps continuously. (Usually because my heart rate is above target). I can't silence the thing...no matter what I do. Not exactly great for Yoga either. :-)

The grain actually came from Egypt and is now being cultivated in the U.S. I know the name sounds funny but it really does taste great. You can find it in most health stores. It's high in protein. Hello, I was confused when I first started. I was eating to my net calories, which is 1200. I don't know why but I didn't realize I was supposed to eat more, based on my activity level. Now I am in the 1600-1700 calorie range and I am actually really comfortable with that. I am wondering if you may be in the same situation…

I would say enjoy the day but also bring a dish or two that you know are on the healthy side.
